"I am a little disappointed as this business had pretty great reviews. I reached out to Ms. Cathy and was told she would be able to work on my furniture for what I thought was a reasonable price. Since that communication, I have not been able to make contact with her. I resent my email, sent a text message and tried to leave a message for which her voicemail is full. I pray she is okay and nothing is seriously wrong. If she is no longer in business I would suggested updated the information on google. Update: Unfortunately, Ms. Cathy no longer wants to do business with me based on my honest review of my experience. However, I would recommend that you afford her the opportunity to provide you with a different experience and that you also post a honest review of your own experience."

"If you are looking for a professional to restore your wood furniture, look no further. Cathy Cole is amazing. She refinished a solid oak pedestal dining table that originally belonged to my parents , and I’m certain it never looked better than it does now. She also refinished an antique mahogany dresser I found years ago in an antique store. It was pretty beat up with scratches and cigarette burns, but Cathy restored it to its original glory and it now looks like a priceless piece of furniture that is sure to last for generations. "Cathy Cole is the Artisan behind the name here, and she is the Annapolis Secret you want to know about. Her specializations these days is Antique Furniture Refinishing, but she had a former life as a caner, and she recaned the seats of beloved chairs of mine, not just good as new, but better yet. These lovely Italian cherry wood chairs had unusual caning on both seats and backs. They're the sort of dining room chairs for dining in and not just looking at, so I despaired when the seats starting sagging after 15 years worth of regular dinner-partying. But I was appalled at the cost of recaning when I called in and around Annapoils for price quotes--the snobs wanted as much to recane the seats as I had paid for the chairs. But love never fails, so I kept looking, and I don't even remember how I came upon Cathy Cole on the Eastern Shore. Well, I really wasn't expecting exquisite work for fair prices , but I fear I got the better of Cathy. The technical precision of her caning was nothing next to the blending of the color of the new seat with the old back of the chair. Somehow, they are lovelier than before! The woman has got to have O.C.D. There's no other explanation--unless it be craftsmanship of the highest order, and fair-dealing of the rarest sort hereabouts. She has since moved Woodtone Restoration operations to Annapolis, and I will vouch for her vying with the best of them hereabouts. I've been working with Cathy on my dining room chairs for several years, and she has never not exceeded my expectations. While recaning one of the chairs she found the frame cracked, and reglued it for me at no additional charge; another chair had candle wax sprayed across the cane back, and she manage to remove that for me too. She has rejuvenated most of my set now, and I'm thrilled my beloved dining room set has a second lease on life--thanks to Cathy Cole, a true Artisan, at Woodtone Restoration."
