"Steph Kimmel started out making small craft kits and selling them from her home, then she became the resident artist at Beehive's summer camp, and now she has a beautiful space of her own in the Bok building in south Philadelphia. When you enter Stephanie's space you can't help but feel excited to dive in and get creative. I went to an art class (snow globe making!) recently on January 2nd when everybody was home from vacation but schools were still closed. Stephanie put this together within 24 hours when she learned that many families were looking for activities for their kids and failing to find anything nearby. She plans to host classes each time that there are school closures in the future. I love her adaptability and willingness to meet the needs of her community. Keep your eye out what's next!"
