"the old dude working there is absolutely ridiculous. he kept saying my ID was fake even though i showed him another form of it. didnt get ID’d there for 4 weeks going 3 times a week and then I walked in and the old guy started yelling at me and when i showed him the ID he still told me to get out. wont be going back. also 2 days apart got charged $10.99 and $9.95 for a 12 pack of budweiser…."
"no itemized receipts, and they’ll intentionally overcharge you. I bought a 12 pack of Yuengling for $14.99 and a 750 of Jack for $36.99 and the price came out to $69.95. with NJ’s 6.25% liquor tax, the price should have been around $56.00. on top of that, they rip open their 12 packs to remove the barcode, patch them up with scotch tape, and scan the code from a barcode sticker on their counter. this place is shady, and they scam their customers. stay away."
"Stay away if you can... at first it didn’t seem like a bad place but because nothing in the store has prices on it and they don’t offer itemized receipts, the owners will take advantage of anyone who is unsuspecting and charge them more for the same product that they will sell to others for cheaper. Myself and a friend bought the same 12 pack of miller at different times on the day and one of us got charged $22 and the other $13."
