"New owners either are either non communicative or rude, depending on how they feel that day. I went in to get some Thanksgiving booze, to find the inventory is terrible. They have tons of certain things, and can't be bothered to get more stuff in. I was probably going to spend about $100, but they had nothing I wanted. I walked the place 2x, and nothing. The woman behind the counter, rather than helping, stood there staring at me the whole time with her phone stuck to her ear, like I was gonna run out with an armful of beer. So I left, never to return again, and we've been going there since they were by Clover. I went to Oxford beverage. They are so friendly and helpful, and even have Schaefer for the old timers. You should go there too."
"New owners won't give a refund for expired beer that they sell. I unknowingly bought an expired yuengling case and was told on the phone I would get a refund. When I got there, the man told me no refunds and pointed to a sign. Not only did I get ripped off, but my time was wasted as well. I'm never going back. Acme down the street is cheaper anyway."
"First time there, 1 girl ahead of me in what I thought was a line for 15 mins. Finally, they got done laughing as she didn't purchase anything and left. Dude said he couldn't tell me what they had in stock until I showed ID. I went to my vehicle, got it & showed the employee. He then wasted almost another 10 mins looking, to which they had none of the 4 different beers I requested. NONE, NOT ONE. So I will make sure I never waste a half hour of my life here again."
"This place is easily the best in the Northeast and most of the Philadelphia area. I have friends that come from Center City to buy from this place. The selection is great. The people that run it are extremely knowledgeable and can lead you to something you will like every time. There are often specials on cases like Goose Island. Where can you get a case of that for $25? All in all a great experience every time I go."
"I found N.E .Beer to be extremely nice, friendly ,helpful clean and well stocked! The guy even carried my case to the car for me.Very knowledgeable of his stock too. And they had the Bud light Platinum that I went for .Excellent service ,I was in and out in minutes.he also told me there is free parking in the back.I will definately return.Thank you NE Beer."
