Reviews of Vino Volo
"Thank god you hired new staff. Had an awful experience in Oct. The new staff are attentive, fast and provide exceptional customer service. Wine excellent, food delicious, great experience."
"I did enjoy their wine selections. Especially “Summer sparklers” Wine pairs are fairly priced. I salute to sommelier behind it. Service is a-bit rude. Both female and male Emps had altitudes."
"Nice spot in the airport. Kitchen was closed so just had the tasting wine menu which was really nice. The description of the wine was on the board. Price was decent for 3 glasses of wine"
"They offer a decent selection of wines and small plates. The olives in particular are quite delicious. Like basically every other shop in the airport, they close at 10 p.m. which is disappointingly early. The atmosphere is like a sit down restaurant but the turnaround is more like fast food - in other words, it's great for a quick bite in a restaurant setting."
"The good: conveniently located in the terminal; good selection of wines including seasonals; interesting, tasty apps and plates. The not so good: I fully realize that it's terribly expensive to rent space and run any type of concession at the airport, but be prepared to drop $75 for a small bite and two glasses of wine for two persons, including tip. My wife and I had the cheese board (three excellent cheeses, wonderful fig jam, marcona almonds, dried cranberries, crostini), a small bowl of tomato soup, one 5 OZ glass of wine each. No water is served unless you ask. And upon asking I was insulted when the response from the server was "sparkling or tap?" A blatant bold move to steer us toward a pricey bottle of carbonated water. We ordered "tap" which was served without ice. Really. Come on. And as we were paying the tab we were offered a last minute special - only $3 a bottle for water to take with. And finally, they do sell bottled wine at retail but if you opt to drink it at the table there's a $12 service fee. I can handle the grossly inflated prices. But the break we took after schlepping luggage around and going through security was ruined the moment she said "tap water"."
