Fine Wine & Good Spirits

"I went in with my 20 year old friend to purchase alcohol for myself. Mind you he has been in the store with me several times before with no issue. Tonight they decided to ask for his ID and because he was under 21 they refused to sell me the alcohol, I was calm and asked the lady at the register why they couldn't sell to me when I was the one purchasing the alcohol and she said "I just cant". I proceeded to point to the sign they have next to the register that says "you must be over 21 to purchase the alcohol" it did not say anything about scanning everyone ID's that you have with you, she still said "I just can't sell to you". I then asked why they are able to sell to people that walk in with their 3-17 year old children/siblings/friends, I was still given the same response of "I just cant". I was not given any valid or legal reasoning as to why she couldn't sell to me. I proceeded to drive my friend home and come back into the store 15-20 minutes later, met with the same "I cannot sell you alcohol tonight". I was trying to get a valid reason as to why she couldn't sell to me when I was by myself now and was met with the same answer over and over again and said that I was genuinely confused and just wanted a valid reasoning. The manager(?) then came over and asked why I was confused, I gave her the run-down of what happened and she said they were legally not allowed to sell to me tonight since I was with someone underage earlier, as they didn't know if I would be serving him that alcohol i intended to purchase. I proceeded to ask if I was not allowed to buy alcohol here ever again because of that fact, and she said I was more than welcome to come back tomorrow?? This does not make any sense to me.. he is still going to be in the same household regardless of when I come back. I also brought up how parents and friends come in with their 3-17 year-olds and purchase alcohol without an issue. She said they should all be carded as well, which I 100% know is not the case and they do not card everyone.. thoroughly upset that an hour of my night was wasted with this nonsense, will not be coming back."

"Most of the staff is friendly but Dale needs to go. She apparently can't handle being called Ma'am, something I always do because I was taught manners. She always points out "My Name is Dale " Dale doesn't say hello, thank you etc. She does however enjoy laughing at customers as they walk into the store. She is rude and according to reviews, I'm not the only one."
