"This is my second time dining here and this time I put together my cousins surprise engagement here and everything went well! Joey was awesome and did amazing in helping me set this up and making sure everything went as planned! The other staff were also helpful in helping me plan. The food was delicious as always! "My family went to Ampersea for a birthday dinner, and we will be coming back for sure! We were seated outside, close to the water. Our server was welcoming, informative and humorous and was a delight every time he stopped to check in on us. Joey, the manager, was so personable and we had a great conversation! He even offered to take pictures - as he should, as he obviously knows how to get the perfect shot by the harbor. It seemed like he was going around all of the tables to greet everyone, which adds so much to the atmosphere of this restaurant. Food was amazing - we got the Rockefeller oysters, crab cake, and the seafood club and all of them did not disappoint. You can't go wrong with crab cake in Baltimore, but I think it is one of the best I've had so far, especially paired with the sauce that came with it. My parents live out of state, and Ampersea was a great way to introduce them to the Harbor views and food of Baltimore!"

"My family and I went out to hangout and to just enjoy a nice restaurant for brunch. We drove around for a while and found a nice place called Ampersea. May I tell you, the food and the service is so wonderful. You must come. After we finished eating, Joey, the manager, made us feel so welcomed. I felt like home. He is humble, humorous and very friendly. I can tell he loves his customers and wants to give them the best experience. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to eat here."

"My husband and I was on date night and this was our first time here and we must say this was the best place to dine. The manager Joey stopped by our table and introduced himself and gave us the history of how Ampersea evolved. He was very professional and pleasant. The food and service was impeccable. "My husband wanted to find somewhere new to take me to dinner for our anniversary this year, and he found this wonderful restaurant right on the water, Ampersea! We had a reservation but we’re running late ( just a few minutes). The staff were more than accommodating and held our table and we were seated right away and on the dock by the water. The wait staff was wonderful and helped a nice wine that paired well with our meal but it was the Manager Joey whom really made our night special. He greeted us immediately and offered to take beautiful pictures of us while we drank wine and waited for our main courses to arrive. He told us about the history of the establishment and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The steak was delicious, the muscles and wings were delicious, everything was…. AMAZING! Thanks to manager Joey we had a memorable evening together with great pictures! Can’t wait to come back again!"
