Claire's

"My daughter and I visited the Claires in Rockaway Mall yesterday. To say Im disappointed in this store is an understatement to say the least. We walked in and we were the ONLY people in the store. My daughter was so excited to get her 2nd ear piercing. We went right to the ear piercing station to look at the ear rings. We stood there for about 15 minutes while 2 ladies who worked there did not even acknowledge we were there. So we proceded to go up to the checkout desk where they were standing and the one lady walked away and the 2nd was " pretending " to look at something. We stood there for about 10 minutes to still not be greeted or helped. So we eventually walked out. I work with the public and this truly was true ignorance. I will never give this Claires anymore of my hard earned money."

"Stopped in today to look with my 2 year old who loves earrings. From her stroller, she picked up a pair of butterfly earrings from the $5 rack we were looking through. She even kissed them, she was so happy. When I went to pay, the middle aged bitter woman at the register told me they were $15 and the sticker wasn't even placed right. I tried to find another one in the section but didn't, though I did see other $5 stickers on other packs throughout all of the sections. My aunt and I 100000% felt that she was accusing us of putting the sticker on. All while in her line of view the entire time. I left the earrings much to my daughter's dislike and was very angry. Maybe she should spend less time with an attitude and more time making sure "people" don't randomly place stickers on random earrings right in view of the counter. Never coming here again. *I am not white and have noticed other reviews mentioning a lady that isn't nice to people who look... Diverse.*"

"Didn't greet or say thank you,. My two daughters came into this store super excited yesterday. These two ladies behind the counter seemed less enthusiastic about their job, but at the same time went out of their way to greet other's entering the store who didn't look like ME! Needs proper training on diversity and what that looks like."

"My daughter, her friend & I had such a great experience at the Claire's in Rockaway mall on Monday 12/7. I forget the name of the girl that was working but she was so sweet & patient. She was working alone & was very busy & never seemed stressed or try to rush anyone. She had 3 people in for piercings while other customers were there to shop. She alternated between piercings & the cash register so gracefully & gave each and every customer 100% of her attention without making anyone wait too long. It was such a pleasant experience & I just wanted to give her a shout out. She did a great job with my daughter's piercing as well. Her customer service is top notch & I wanted to say thank you!!"

"I went to get my second piercings and my cartilage and the lady who did it was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable. She did an amazing job and I love my piercings!! There was another girl who did my younger sisters and she was so gentle, especially because they are so young."
