"My children are 14 and 16; we have been with Dr. Amory since they were very small and have always had great experiences when we needed to see him. Dr. Amory speaks directly to the kids and genuinely seems interested in hearing what they have to say and making sure they understand what is going on and are comfortable with what he is doing. I never feel rushed during our visits and HE RUNS ON TIME! His whole office makes the paperwork side simple and straightforward and I always feel respected when dealing with them. I would highly recommend this practice."

"Don't get me wrong me and my girlfriend really enjoyed Dr. Amory from the beginning and he is a great doctor. The reason for this review is the receptionist. We had an appointment for our sons 4 month shots but was denied due to our insurance. We have been to appointments before and had no issue. After several phone calls between the doctor and insurance company we found that according to the insurance company his office was on the list of approved physicians and have not called to be removed. They let us know that because he needed these shots she could sign a form to get the shots approved for this visit. When we called back and spoke with the receptionist she was still very rude and told us she would not sign the paperwork to have it done because then it would open up the oppurtnity for other patients and she didn't want to do that. Then proceeded to tell us we would Just have to go somewhere else for his shot. So we did and now have chose to stay with a new doctor instead of coming back. I went in to get his file faxed over and they already knew i was coming and kept the same annoyed and rude attitude they had over the phone. All in all its very unprofessional clerical staff that are not there to assist with anything. I feel bad for Dr. Amory because he is a great pediatrician and we will miss going to see him but just don't want to deal with the admin."

"Have been going to Dr. Amory with our twins for 11 years. He has a WONDERFUL bedside manner and is a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable physician. We have had a couple of major medical problems and he and his staff were excellent. He also takes the time to explain diagnoses, prescriptions, etc. My wife and I couldn't be moe pleased."

"My first experience with him was fine. All that you would expect from any educated experienced physician. Unfortunately his bedside manner is not up to par and has declined significantly. He will enter the room without so much as a hello or good morning. He will spend 5 minutes on the issue and leave you to your own devises unless you ask for more details. His staff is fine no problems there. Their office is never full, therefore it is convenient in that regard. For me people skills are as critical as the ability to diagnose and treat. I no longer will bring my child or other future children to him."
