"My aunt who is not very computer savvy asked me to please relay her recent experience with this jeweler on her behalf. She brought a pair of gold earrings in to be fixed, one earring required soldering due to it splitting (hollow gold hoop earrings). She was at the shore when they were ready to be picked up, so she asked her brother to pick them up for her. When she opened the envelope they were in, she was shocked to find that the solder used was regular solder (of the pipe solder variery) not gold solder, and that the earrings had dents and bends in them. When she went to him today to ask for her repair fee returned, he became hostile and blamed her and my uncle for ruining her earrings themselves, and trying to destroy his integrity. He then proceeded to tell her to get the F* out of his store, and that he didnt care who she reported him to. Seems like a very bad business practice to me."
