"Had major neck pain and attempted to schedule a visit with them. Oss: "We need your medical card." Me: "I have the digital version I can email you or print out and bring along." Oss: "No we need the physical card they sent in the mail, didn't you get one in the mail?!" Me: "It's new insurance, so I didn't get it yet, but I have the information in digital format..." Oss: "No. It must be the physical card you were sent in the mail. " Me: "I have the card, it's just in digital... " What you need is the information on the card not the card itself. So why can't I email it? Unhelpful"

"I went here a few years ago but the lady at the counter had an attitude and was really judgmental. I still think about it and it’s the only reason I haven’t gone back to OSS. The fact that they hire openly judgmental people in healthcare really bothers me. And that lady really cut me deep that day. I hope she finds peace and has healed from whatever caused her to lash out at me but it just doesn’t sit well with me"

"I’m a disabled veteran that was sent to OSS by the VA..It took over a month to get me scheduled and when the day came for my appointment I showed up at the Powder Mill Rd location only to be told my appointment was at the Mechanicsburg location over a hour away. They rescheduled me for the wrong type of appointment in their attempt to make things right today. I drove another hour to only end up being told the wrong type of appointment was scheduled. I asked to speak with the director and was told he doesn’t work at the Powder Mills location. And to my surprise the director is the same surgeon I was supposed to have seen on Tuesday when they sent me to the wrong appointment. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"I am a previous patient and employee of OSS. I was an employee first and had my ankle replaced with Dr. Christian and his team as well as Dr. Granger. Dr. Christian was my primary surgeon though. Prior to my becoming a patient I've heard a lot of positive things about OSS. So I was like alright let's see what it's all about. I started working there in January and giving them all my personal information about what was going on in my life. I had my ankle replaced in April and was out of work for two months because they wouldn't allow me to work while I was non-weight baring when I could've. When my daughter tried committing suicide and I asked to work from home they told me no that they weren't doing that at the moment when they already had at least one other person in the same position I was in working from home. As for my surgery, while it went well, I was still having a lot of pain and swelling. I did physical therapy both at their offices and at home. I followed everything to the T but the replacement that the doctors said looked solid was actually loosening. I moved from PA to FL and 18 months later after all the pain and swelling worsening I had to have another ankle replacement surgery. The doctors at OSS are quick to explain things. Don't typically answer questions. They want their PAs to answer the questions. I, for sure, do not recommend working there or getting care there for your ankle."

"I took my 18 year old son to urgent care. Larissa and Megan (techs) were extremely friendly and thorough. We were able to do online check in which made check in at desk faster and smoother. Check in person was friendly. It had been a while (2016) since we last visited with our son. We used to be frequent visitors to OSS urgent care. He saw Dr. Bixler and the doctor commented that he saw my son for the same foot when he was 4 years old (which was true). We all had a good laugh at that fact. My son remembered tricycle accident but didn’t remember the visit. It felt like catching up with an old friend. My son was in pre-k and now in college. There is actually an OSS urgent care closer to our home but we drove there instinctively (or out of old habit). Nevertheless good visit and great staff."
