Dr. Rajiv Aggarwal

"Dr Aggarwal is great! He is a very caring doctor and devotes his time to speak with his patients and goes out of his way to find you a treatment that’s best suited for you! I only gave this a 3 star because of his staff. His receptionist Victoria at the Reston location is very rude and lack customer service. Per the doctor’s recommendation in an earlier discussion, I had called to set up an appointment to be seen the day I called. Victoria was adamant there was there was nothing on the books. I explained to her that the doctor told me to call him regardless to set up a quick appt so he can determine the next course of action for my current condition. I had explained that to her but she wasn’t listening. Finally I asked her, well can you speak with the doctor. So she finally put me in for 430 appt but that is contingent to what he says. I told her after being a patient with Dr Aggarwal office for over 10 decades I will just have to switch to a new health care provider. After my comment, Victoria came back and said, well those are your choices not mine. I was blown away and lost interest . I don’t think she is mature enough to handle the tempo of the office and manage the workload. Long story short, Dr. Aggarwal’s office would be perfect if he hired matured, qualified and customer oriented people."

"It is impossible for me to recommend Dr Rajiv Aggarwal ( Family Practice specialist of Leesburg, VA ) highly enough. He literally saved my life , by the grace of God. He found a large aneurysm on my heart that could have burst, and I would not be here to write this. I only had fatigue as my symptom! But he listens and reads your history puts together the pieces of your medical history like a puzzle and sees the big picture. What I had was a 4.5 cm coronary aneurysm and needed quick open heart surgery.. That was 2 years ago. I have been ice skating and skiing since my recovery, and am doing great! It is s miracle! Dr Aggarwal has a gift for finding the problem AND the solution, even when it is very difficult to find. Amazingly I have met other ppl whose lives he has saved too. You can see why it is hard to put into words how great of a medical doctor he really is. He is also amazingly humble as well! He is simply Outstanding!"

"Doctor is impossible to reach. After my visit, the prescription was not sent to my pharmacy, supporting documentation was not sent to a different department (they even left a vm stating they they hadn’t been able to reach him either). I’ve been promised a call back twice now. Stay away."
