"Dr. Presti was friendly and helpful. He did not push any type of procedure or surgery but offered some suggestions. He said he was available if I had any other issues. His staff was courteous and pleasant."
"The person answering the phone was yawning throughout the call. Couldn’t find established information in the system, seemed very confused and had me on hold and on the phone for 25 minutes repeating the same information. I asked to speak to someone else and the person put me on hold. I am a patient person but this was not a good introduction to the practice. It’s a shame because the location is perfect. I am taking my mother somewhere else."
"On Thursday, September 21 I was seen for heel pain. X-rays were taken and confirmed Plantar Fasciitis. I indicated I had been going to physical therapy, stretching and using ice. I was told to stay the course with PT. At the time the insurance I had didn’t require a referral for PT. However, as of October 1 my insurance switched to Medicare and a referral was now needed. On Wednesday, October 4 I called the office to request a referral. The girl I spoke to told me I needed to call my primary care physician. After I hung up I realized I no longer had a PCP. He retired on October 1. The insurance company told me it should come from the doctor treating me. I called back and left a message asking for a referral and left the fax number of my therapist, Gold Medal. Nothing was faxed and no return call. Between Thursday , October 5 and the date of this writing, I have left eight messages and my therapist left two. No return calls and no referral. I have since given up and cancelled all my therapy. To say I’m disappointed and frustrated is an understatement. If this is the way your office handles their patients, I’m surprised they have any patients at all. I will never return and never refer anyone to this office. Jean F. Hill"
"I called Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday as a new patient. I’ve been in pain for 3 years now so I was looking forward to hopefully getting some relief. As I was describing what’s going on I got cut off by one of the receptionist as if I was boring her. They called me back a day before my appointment to tell me they had cancelled my appointment. I called back to see what was going on and to get rescheduled and they said they are no longer accepting new patients at this location. I am so frustrated with the way things were handled and communicated here."
"I recently had minor surgery to reduce the bone in my little toe to prevent callouses from reoccurring. Following the surgery the only post op instructions I was given is not to get it wet until my follow up visit two days later and take Motrin for pain. My toe bled quite a bit but at my follow up visit all the doctor did was take off the gauze wrapping, look at it, slapped a band-aid on it without cleaning off the wound, took and another x-ray and sent me on my way with no further instructions. This was on a Friday and over the weekend the toe became swollen, red and painful. On Monday I could not get through to the office, so I physically went to the office only to be told the doctor that did the surgery was on vacation and there was no one available to see me. The next day my primary care provider looked at my toe which was infected and put me on an antibiotic and took another x-ray. I would not recommend this doctor or podiatry office to anyone."
