"This was my first time at Hand & Stone, and it was great! I was greeted warmly by LaShea, who walked me through their forms and processes. Luke was an incredible masseuse. He confirmed my areas of focus and listened to my pressure needs. It was a very relaxing and safe environment. Their introductory rate is $80 for one hour, but they also offer a membership program for the same price which gets you a complimentary massage or facial every month. All in all, it was a great experience, and I’ll be back!"

"I have been to this location twice now and both times I had incredible service but most recently I had the pleasure of having Mercedes be the masseuse for my service and she was incredible. Before getting a massage from her I was indifferent to them but after service with her I see why people go and get them done oh my god. I really can’t say enough positive things about her she was consistent with pressure and very INTENSELY thorough! She was kind and respectful and just provided an overall exceptional service. When I return she is the only masseuse for me. Thank you Mercedes!"

"I booked a 60min massage with a 30min upgrade and an aromatherapy scalp massage add on. I arrived at 1:55pm (my appt was for 2pm), checked in and the receptionist told me my masseuse was going to be 15mins late. Totally fine, I’m patient I can wait, I understand they are busy. Around 2:20pm I get called back for my massage. My masseuse was respectful but kept firm pressure on all my trigger points even though I asked if she could go lighter. I spent the majority of my massage in discomfort. At the end of my massage I got dressed and went to the front desk and noted the time was 3:30pm. I told the receptionist I made an appointment for a 30min add on but I was only in the back room for about an hour. Despite having told her that, I still had to pay for the 30min upgrade that I did not receive. She offered a free aromatherapy add on for my next appointment. Comparing both services (30min upgrade being $40 and aromatherapy being $10) I felt cheated nor do I trust that the receptionist made a note in my account for the free aromatherapy service. Also to add, my masseuse was listening to music with one earbud which I could hear when she was massaging my shoulders/back. I have been coming to this location for almost a year and have noticed the negative change in service. There is a high turn over rate and all the masseuses that were there in June/July are no longer there. I come to this location solely because it’s close to my house. At this time, I don’t think I will be returning to this location and instead may go 30mins out of my way to the Columbia location."

"The online booking software caused a stressful snafu, but the staff was very helpful, friendly, and clear to the best of their abilities. Somehow, I was able to book a service that my massage therapist wasn't trained in. This should not have been possible when booking, as I understand it, based on information provided by the wonderful staff at the front desk. Riley provided a competent consultation and service, and I feel much better physically. However, I would suggest they leave the emotional wellness suggestions to someone with more training and experience in that department. Overall, I had a largely positive experience with respect to the staff and the services I received."

"I was annoyed by how the business was run. I had been given a gift card for one massage. When I indicated I wanted deep-tissue pressure, I was charged an additional $15 on top of the gift card. I found this gesture to be cheap and uninviting. The "management" refused to relent. This left quite a sour taste in my mouth. In addition, after paying the fee (up front) prior to the massage, I was led to my massage room where the masseuse proceeded to try to interest me in other "add-ons." The massage was already expensive, I had been gouged for another $15, and now the masseuse was attempting to pad my bill. This left me in a less-that-comfortable state, which is necessary to appreciate a massage. With these practices I will strongly consider taking my business somewhere where the company practices goodwill and appreciates -- rather than extorts -- the customer."
