"I experienced an emergency in June that necessitated a colonoscopy- this office was the only one in the county that could see me before December- they needed an office consultation before I got the procedure. We initially scheduled an appointment for August- they called me in July to reschedule for September, because the doctor actually wouldn’t be in town for my August appointment… okay. A week before my September appointment, they called to confirm I could make it. I said I could. The very next day, they called me to reschedule- the doctor actually wouldn’t be in town for my original September date… okay. I finally saw the doctor for the consultation, he agreed that I needed a colonoscopy. He said I could do it just two days from the consultation! I said I had a big event the day after that date, I’d rather play it safe and have it about a week and a half out, to get all the prep done. The office didn’t send my prescription until four days before the procedure, because I called to remind them- getting this office on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE! They advertise their phone hours as open-12pm, 12:30pm-4:30pm. THIS IS NOT TRUE WHATSOEVER! They don’t reopen the lines from lunch until at least 1pm, and they stop taking calls by 3:30- sometimes 3pm. The phone tag is excruciating. Yesterday (Wednesday) I called to schedule my colonoscopy follow-up- they confirmed my appointment for Friday. Wednesday at 7pm they left me a voicemail saying actually, the doctor would be out of town for my appointment time, could I reschedule? When I called, they said I could either come into the office in the next hour or I would have to wait two weeks to see a new doctor, since my doctor is going on vacation until December… Every time I’ve actually made it in to see a nurse or doctor, they’ve been great, kind, professional, and taken my problems very seriously. But actually GETTING to the doctor is torturous. I don’t understand why gastroenterology has to be so much more complicated to access than any other specialty medicine."

"The doctor is helpful and professional but the billing lady is IMPOSSIBLE! She solely made my choice to visit another MD a very easy choice. I was unaware my insurance was inactive, genuinely thought my insurance was active! IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN informed by the staff PRIOR TO my VISIT that my insurance didn't cover this visit i wouldn't have attended my appointment. EVERY DOCTORS OFFICE VERIFIES INSURANCE PRIOR TO VISITS. THEY DIDNT! And stuck me with a bill. Sure i could have paid but The women speaks in a very condescending manor! Unprofessional and it's a shame because i would literally have gone back to them for the studies i needed but nope. Wont get my business or any referrals. See you next Tuesday is what she is!"

"While the medical treatment my husband received was fine, the billing staff there was extremely rude. The claims were filed improperly, resulting in us receiving thousands of dollars in bills that should have been paid by our insurance. Now, we have to go through a tedious appeal process to try and get bills paid that would have otherwise been taking care of had the claims been resubmitted as we requested. The billing employee, Robin, argued with both me and my husband extensively and refused to resubmit our claim even though we called back repeatedly to request her to do so. If you have a choice to get services from another doctor I would highly encourage you to do so."
