"I've had diabetes for 25 years and have had seen several endocrinologists. By far, Dr Field is the best I've found. Not only does he know what he's doing, but he listens. (The egos on some of these physicians, yeesh, right??) He's helped me go from an A1C of 8.5 to a 5.5. But you gotta want it and be willing to change what you're doing. Look there are challenges with all offices. They're staffed by humans. At least Dr Field has nice humans on his staff."

"I was diagnosed with thyroid disease as a child and have been dealing with it for almost 20 years now. Dr. Field is my absolute favorite doctor that’s ever handled my thyroid. I had been really burned by endo’s in the past. I refused to see one again for 6 years after the last one refused to listen to me about my concerns. She would even laugh at me for the things I’d ask about just trying to get help and answers and tell me to just lose weight when I was truly at a very healthy weight. Dr. Field has been the first doctor I’ve encountered who didn’t speak condescendingly to me about my questions and understanding of thyroid disease and has taken the time to correct and explain in detail any of my understandings that were mistaken. He’s willing to run labs for things even if it’s something there isn’t treatment for, but you’d like to know what’s going on in your body. He’s the first doctor who’s affirmed feelings I’ve had about thyroid disease since I was a child. He’s also the first doctor I’ve encountered who has been incredibly encouraging about my weight. I’m much much heavier than when I saw my previous endo and instead of just telling me to lose weight he celebrates the weight I have lost and maintained losing and encourages me to stay the course because weight loss is a long game. It doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t have to happen rapidly. Even when I had gained a little back he was still incredibly encouraging and told me he was still happy with the weight loss I’ve maintained, and that he just wanted me to continue working on making healthy choices. As someone who’s had their weight harped on by doctors their entire life, even when they were very skinny and secretly struggling with an eating disorder, the way he approaches the weight and weight loss talk is so huge. He also will ask and educate me to the best of his abilities about things he’s seen in my chart that he knows my other doctors probably haven’t or even just try to answer questions I have because they’re partly related to my thyroid which I hugely appreciate. I find the office to be clean and the staff always nice and accommodating. Dr. Field likes to be respectful of his and his patient’s time which I so appreciate. My first appointment I was running late because my gps messed up. He decided not do a full first patient visit with me, but still met with me briefly to know what labs he’d like to run and had me schedule to come back in 2 months. Some people may find that very frustrating, but I so appreciated it because it showed me that he refuses to be the kind of doctor that has you waiting forever. I’m so incredibly happy that he’s who I was referred to when I decided to start seeing an endo again. Appointments are always such a positive experience. It has been so uplifting to have a doctor like him handling my care after years and years of desperately wishing I could find a doctor like him. I look forward to my check ups with him and always get teary eyed after my appointments because I’m just so happy that I finally found a doctor I truly love. I also always get anxiety after appointments that he’ll decide to move away and I’ll lose him. Lol. Wait times to get in as a first time patient or when you have to reschedule an appointment can be longer than you’d like, which I know is frustrating, but I promise Dr. Field is so worth that wait. Plus MyChart, if you’re established with him, is an incredible tool when you have questions or feel something needs to be addressed between appointments!"

"I scheduled an appt in Dec 2021. First available last week of May. Now my appt has been canceled 13 days before because he won't be in the office now. So am I supposed to wait another 5 or 6 months for another appt?"
