"I obviously don’t know how much of this place’s business is a scam, but I’ll tell you my story and you can judge for itself and at least take precautions. I took a tablet in to get it fixed. They said they needed to order a part and requested a $60 deposit to cover the order. A few days later, I called and they say they can’t find the part. (Which is fair enough.) But when I go to pick up the device, the $60 deposit had magically transformed into a non-refundable “diagnostic fee.” Definitely not what they said. And of course, because they don’t actually provide any paper work (which should have been the first sign), what are you going to do? Buyer beware."
