"This business has changed hands and it's no longer great takeout. Food costs have gone up so it's reasonable to have increases in menu prices. But their prices are not on par with other Chinese takeouts in the area. Especially because the quality went down a lot and the taste is just ok. The previous owners were great with their customer service, but now it's about what you'd expect from a Chinese takeout. They consistently get something wrong, from missing part of the order, to ignoring requests to omit something(carrots). If you wait for your food to be made, it's very likely to see them respond to customer issues with either skepticism or outright belligerence. Especially over low cost items. Time to find another spot."

"Decided to give this place a try today even though it was 30 minutes away. The food was definitely average Chinese food especially for the area. The General Tao’s chicken was ok but depending on one’s preference it may be crispier than other places. The following dishes were also average, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Plain Lo Mien, Pork egg rolls, Pork Fried Dumplings and White Rice. The food definitely messed with my stomach and I will not visit this establishment in the future."

"You can not longer eat their food anymore. Me and my family spent thousands here. The previous owners cooked the food sooooo much better then they do now. These people rice taste like pure garbage. It was so bad my 7 years old daughter got sick and threw up. The shrimp was bland, no flavor. And the chicken wings had no taste. China star is a thing of the past i would honestly get food from the buffet before giving china star a thought. Save your money and get a ramen noodles you will enjoy that more. Stop robbing people with classless tasting food yall should be a shame smh!!!!"

"Chicken w broccoli and boneless spare ribs were good . Usually spare ribs are cut into strips but these were almost like mini pork chops. They were tender and the sauce on them was really good. I definitely recommend ."
