"I seen the attitude Jessica mentioned in another review and I agree. I don't think he was like that intentionally that is just how people are around these parts compared to other places in the country. I don't think they even realize they come off that way because that's just how they are"
"If I could give one star, I would. I've never been to this post office but I love Bloomsbury as a whole so decided to go there to ship a gift to my sister who has Down Syndrome. Because my sister has Downs, she still believes in Santa Claus, even at 47 years old. Our tradition every year is for me to mail her "Reindeer Food" for her to throw out on Christmas Eve to make sure Santa comes to her Group Home. That said, I wanted to put something on the box that stated "Open BEFORE Christmas Eve" so that she knew the reindeer food was included in the box. The easiest way I thought to do this (and the way I've ALWAYS done it) was to grab one of the USPS address stickers that you fill out to ship things and put it right below the return address sticker with it written really big and obvious. Well, I did that and handed it to the person behind the counter who immediately said 'what a mess you made, why did you waste post office paper to write on another label?"....now, if he had said that in a semi-kind way, I would have explained it in a nice way and apologized for using their paper without permission...but instead, this guy was an aggressive jerk. It's hard enough that I can't be with my sister on Christmas, but then I have to deal with a total garbage human being to top it off? I even explained why and he was still completely rude. I was quite upset and spoke my mind which I only do when provoked way past my breaking point. This man deserved it. I wish I'd gotten his name but apparently, he's there all the time. I am completely disappointed by the true lack not only of customer service, but the outright aggressive, nasty, bullying way I was treated. You know, if the USPS is concerned about becoming obsolete, hiring complete jerks to work with the public will ensure that they will. I will never go there again. I'd rather walk to my sister's group home and drop it off personally than deal with a person like that ever again. I was shaking when I left because I was so upset. To the person who oversees this garbage human being-it's time to make a hard choice here between customers and this jerk. I will be calling the USPS to complain as well. Happy Holidays to all those who aren't obnoxious dumpster fires."
"I was a customer of this specific post office for 10 plus years. Never have I once had an issue of any sort. A week ago I entered the post office to pick up the last of my mail before adding my new forwarding address. I was approached by the "postmaster" and/or manager with a very AGGRESSIVE hands in the air interrogation about why I threw my junk mail away in the garbage The last time I had been at the post office. Unbeknownst to him, me being there to set up my new forwarding address I was told AGGRESSIVELY with both hands in the air and a very loud tone also that he had "HEARD" I no longer lived in the area and that I was not allowed to have a post office box. I was severely disappointed in his level of unprofessional behavior and tone. No matter any information that is to be relayed by an associate who is not knowledgeable of the situation nor asking before barating a patron by no means is acceptable. I would not recommend this post office."
"This is my local post office. I’ve had great experiences with the female post officer agent here, she’s super friendly! However…the male, I believe his name is Joe? I’ve tried with him. Good lord. Every time I go in there to ship my wife’s packages, he tells me a different rule about shipping. He has a bit of a god complex with it there. And yes every time you’re there he’s never at the counter. The second you ring the bell there, he always goes “it’s gonna be a while!” I just went this morning, I showed him on the label where it indicates that I can ship the items in ANY package, and I explained to him that I had shipped a package in Flemington without issue, and he immediately got in my face and said “no, they’re wrong. That’s wrong.” Trying to figure out how to report abuse of power and misconduct at the moment to the post master general. Avoid the grievance and go to Phillipsburg instead."
"This place went down the drain about 2 years ago. It used to be a nice little rural post office, pleasure to visit. Now it’s a place staffed with passive aggressive employees who best fit to work in jail the way they treat people. They give you attitude when you come with prepaid labels (Something tells me their bonuses depend on their revenue). They overcharge for shipping, and lie about cheaper shipping options even when you ask. Avoid at all cost! They don’t deserve 1 star rating. Solid negative 5 out of 10."
