"I really love Kanuik, very easy to order online and they send you a confirmation email plus an email letting you know when your delivery will be made PLUS when it has been made and how much was filled and amount charged or credited back. Very efficient. My only qualm with them is that I didn’t realize my furnace actually went out (I’ve been recovering from the flu) until after the oil was delivered. I called to see if someone could come out even though it was after the fact and I was flatly told no. It was then suggested I get a plumber. I said I’m not calling a plumber? I don’t understand why I should need to call a plumber when I am a customer of a heating oil company even though I realize they’re a small business. I asked if she had any pointers for me if I could do it myself. There was a long silence and she said she doesn’t know how to relight it and I should just call a boyfriend. You own a heating oil company, you don’t know how to relight it? So here I am trying to figure it out, good thing I have a wood stove to keep some heat going otherwise it would be freezing and my kids would be popsicles. Im just a little stunned at the lack of customer service, again for a small business when I just spent a lot of money on filling up tanks."
