"Purchase geek squad warranty took my daughter' snew Samsung tablet that wouldn't start up and they said sorry can't help u call Samsung? REALLY? so I paid for any electronics repair for nothing they stole my money total protection scam beware"
"No one showed up to fix our dryer under the protection plan. When we called them to find out why no one showed up they had no record of us calling even though we got a confirmation email. Wait times on the phone are also horrendous and they transfer you to multiple agents because no one has a clue as to what they are doing. I had to call a repair company on my own to get the dryer repaired. Because of this nonsense we are going on almost a week and a half with out a dryer. What shocked me even more is we had them out two years ago for the same issue and they didn’t have any record for that repair either. I do not recommend them."
"This is the 3rd time I've purchased something from Best Buy to be delivered. This is also the third time I've taken off work to meet the delivery and the Geek Squad has missed the delivery and failed miserably. The boy claiming to be the manager named Jacob seemed to think it was funny and offered no compensation. Looking at your reviews on Google shows this isn't the 1st time for many others. Very sad customer service."
"Bought GE Washer a Mac Rd store. Bought 5 year geek squad protection. Within 2 months unit wont empty water. Called Geeks. Geeks ordered parts likely the issue since their techs do not carry parts on truck and have no local inventory, Had to wait 7 days for guy to come out....but..part back ordered...now have wait 10 more days then schedule appt. Involved store who expedited part..took almost 3 weeks to get new belt installed...could have got part at sears! 6 months later wont spin. Wait seven days for tech...guessed part was main board. Replaced. A few weeks ago horrible scraping noise coming from washer. Wait 7 days for tech. He orders 3 parts. Got a call...parts backordered. Must wait 2 weeks! They should have replaced this turkey to begin with but what really gets me is they have only 2 service techs for our large area. They are fine men but do not have access to parts to get the job done.They stock no parts. Ridiculous. Average repair takes at least 2 weeks. They had audacity to tell me to have GE come out since it was still under the GE warranty. They should have refunded my contact money and issue credit for a new washer! Bottom line...geek squad appliance service is inefficient and understaffed...where does it state this in the fine print?"
"I fixed my sound system on my own after being told I needed a new one and that it was defective, it took quite a while but supervisors and experts could not fix it! On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate Geek Squad 0, (YES ZERO)! I will tell anyone I meet how horrible your geek squad is. Totally unreliable and barely knowledgeable. One supervisor said she had this system in her home. And told me I had to buy a new one! Previously I had to buy an external DVD player and that also was not necessary. I think these are just salespeople. And I thank them for nothing. (About 6 hours on the phone while these "experts" could do nothing!) Very Seriously, Joseph Rospetti"
