"I was referred this company by way of AHS - I am disabled with MS and use a power wheelchair- since the only toilet in my home that I have access to is clogged/blocked I need help with this immediately! Not after everyone’s basements are dry !! Apparently they also do not have or don’t offer 24 hour service. A GREAT disappointment in this dynamic I hope AHS finds another company to work with"
"We used CKC Plumbing and HVAC to replace our hot water heater. Craig was professional, and knowledgeable. Prices were competitive and the work was done quickly. I’ll happily use them again."
"CKC Plumbing tried to scam me on a water heater replacement. They were assigned by American Home Shield (AHS) under a warranty contract. Water heater replacement and labor is covered in full under the AHS warranty but they tried to scam me for “non covered charges” of $750 for “pipe modifications” ($325) and replacement of expansion tank. ($375). By the way, a new expansion tank runs any where from $50 to $75 and screws into the existing plumbing. This was for a 2 year old water heater which was a basic install and no pipe modifications or new expansion tank were necessary. Since the water heater was only 2 years old and still under manufacture warranty, I hired another plumber who replaced the water and installed it at no charge and saved the $750. As stated, they used the existing hot and cold water lines without having to “modify” the pipes. It was as basic as you get. It took longer to empty and remove the old water heater then to replace the new one. CKC was just trying to grab extra cash. I read several other reviews which they tried the exact same scam with the same language. I declined their services but they ordered the new water heater anyway through AHS and wouldn’t return my calls or the calls of American home Shield to confirm that they closed their service ticket and didn’t replace the water heater. Don’t use this company. Don’t let American Home Shield assign this contractor. Choose any other. They don’t return calls and you can only leave a voicemail message. If I could give a zero rating, I would."
"Trash company do not use them! They came out because my main sump pump was not discharging the water. They told me they could not fix it because the pipe outside was clogged so they left. I turned on the backup pump and water was being discharged no problem through the same lines they said were clogged. I told the company this and they maintained that the pipe was clogged. I then took a video and sent it to them and that is when they stopped answering me. Don’t waste your money!! Should be able to give ZERO STARS."
"Call placed on Sunday afternoon with AHS warranty and CKC was assigned as contractor. We heard nothing from them so on Tuesday I called and got voice mail, left message and got text messages in response scheduling service for Thursday afternoon. I had no idea who the text was from and thought it was from the warranty company. I responded that since service was supposed to be 24 to 48 hours after call 4 days wasn't acceptable, could this be improved. I received a response text making it clear it was from CKC that was rude, stating warranty customers weren't handled as emergency and were scheduled as available and this was the best they could do. I took the appointment. The technician arrived 3:10pm, lifted toilet off, said flange was backwards but he could put new bolts in other slots because existing bolts were rotten. He didn't replace the seal, just bolted the toilet back in place. He left at 3:30pm. At 3:35pm I flushed the toilet and saw small amounts of water so I immediately called. I got voice mail, left urgent message, called regular customer line, got voice mail left same message and sent text messages. They have never responded. Fortunately after 4 or 5 flushes the water stopped and it seems to have sealed. I have reported all the this to AHS. I would never recommend this company because of their rude and indifferent treatment of a customer just because we have a home warranty."
