"the reason for 2-star rating is. My grandmother has insurance but they will not accept hers. Won't even try to work with her. She is elderly of course. Needs rides to her doctors to and from. She offered to pay out of pocket for a monthly fee to get transportation but they shot that down too. want over $30 a ride! and that's just ONE WAY/ how are the elderly supposed to survive with this kind of treatment??? Such a disappointment. Make sure your elderly loved ones are rich before using this service."

"Be prepared for a long wait and don't make any plans based on the estimated time they give you. From our experience, they will not contact you even if they are delayed by more than an hour (or two) beyond the time they quoted. In this digital age, there is no excuse for leaving patients waiting without updates."

"Transport Drivers, Ambulance E.M.T.'s are BEST quality of Med-Van! But for patients, need for patiently waiting is the normal due to delays caused by dispatcher management in main office in Northern Cambria!! Johnstown office is best office!! Please bed-ridden patients be patient when getting service. Best to make sure appointments made with Med-Van are aware of staircases, & special considerations for the patient needing transported! Best $$ in area & they travel widely in area!! Rely on letting drivers, & E.M.T.'S knowing any special difficulties upon arrivals. The drivers & E.M.T.'S make this company run!! They are the BEST in medical transportation!!"
