"My furnace stopped working and, I was without heat on a snowy 20degree Friday. I called 2 places first thing in the morning and waited most of the day for just a return phone call. I called Carpinet and within 1 hour they had arrived and had it up and running for me. Also offered some advice on preventing further problems. He was very polite and professional. Will definitely use them anytime I have any plumbing needs from now on."
"Duke the technician was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and respectful. Wouldn’t hesitate to use this business again"
"They've been a big help in the past, but I felt the most recent plumber to come out to the house tried to upsell. They wanted to charge me almost two grand to replace 30 ft of PVC pipe. Last year, it was a thousand for a hot water heater."
"Very poor customer service. Granted I wasn’t a customer, my spouse and 13yr old child were driving in my vehicle when a worker of this business, David Rensa, decided to drive erratic (while in this companies truck) swerving in and out of the lane for about a mile at my vehicle and thereafter threatens my spouses life which included racial comments. (We do have recordings) Upon stopping at a red light directly after Dave’s threats, this gentleman slammed into the back of my vehicle and than said “now I will call the cops” my daughter was In immediate fear as this man was enraged. After police arrived and cited this man and clearly ruled the “accident “ his fault, I attempted to reach the business owner, Bob. After my second attempt I gave up as I did not hear back and to me that seemed he did not to care and more so to have his worker take accountability and I know this as Dave was driving his company vehicle just 2 days after as if nothing happened. If you look online at court dockets you can clearly see what the police found were wrong as well as damage to my vehicle and this company vehicle due to the drivers negligence, hatred and anger. I get business owners are struggling to keep employees but rather than allowing him to get back on the road and drive, maybe enroll him into anger management courses and definitely watch the homes he is servicing as he is indeed a very scary, racially profiling individual. I will now be going to all social media platforms as well as BBB and other agencies to ensure they know the type of behavior this business condones since they chose no accountability."
"Carpinet Plumbing installed a new hot water heater in my home in October of 2020. The new heater was not an exact match, therefore the fit was different. Instead of slightly moving the pipes for a correct install, they jammed the water heater in. The water heater was forced so tightly that the pressure release valve won't release. It was forced to the point that pressure release scraped, scratched, and gouged the concrete block wall. After the heater was installed, I called them back and they never came. I had to hire another company to come back and move the hot water heater. The second plumbing company explained that this install could potentially be dangerous because any pressure buildup could not release if needed do to. Another issue that began after this terribly dangerous install was the presence of air in the hot water line. The other company informed me that there is likely a part in the new hot water heater that is broken. I'm not a plumber but one would assume that a brand new water heater would have a broken part from this forced install. Please DO NOT USE Carpinet Plumbing, there are careless, rude, unprofessional, and most importantly dangerous."
