"Called, scheduled service for a GE Washer, gave us a date they would be onsite to complete the service and stated they would call 1/2 hour before showing up. Never received a call from them on the day of service. We called them asking when they were going to show up and their response was, "we don't service GE". Hey DA, we told you it was a GE washer at the time of our initial call. Don't waste your time, go elsewhere."
"Our refrigerator stopped working a couple of weeks ago and we called New Hanover Appliances Repair after calling a couple of other companies (including the store we bought it from) and we were told by those other companies and the store that it would be another one to two weeks before they could even send out a technician to look at the fridge. As a result, we called up New Hanover Appliance Repair and we were told they could be there the next day to evaluate. The technician called us a half hour before he arrived and was on time. He was professional, courteous and very honest about what he found. The technician was informative and clear about the issues with the fridge. We would highly recommend this repair company and I already have to a co-worker who's mother has a broken dryer and she has called them for repairs. Excellent company to deal with!"
"They are scammers located in Arizona, not Gilbertsville, and use sketchy subcontractors that will break your appliances and cancel appointments. Also, they steal $60 upfront through illegally charging your credit card."
"Stay away, worse company ever. Thinking about going to the AG to investigate them for fraud. This wanna be company showed up late, flooded half my basement, then left half way thru my service call to take another call. He showed back up later than he said, but I decided to do the work myself because I didn’t think he was coming back. He ended up over charging me. The shameful company doesn’t do anything about it. When I complained and said what happened the first words out of the guys mouth was “that’s fine”. So apparently that’s how they do business and it’s all fine to them. I wish Google would allow for negative stars."
"I called and made an appointment on a Saturday for my broken washer. I was charged $60 to hold my appointment window of 3-5pm on Monday. I was told a technician would be there and my issue was a simple fix. Monday afternoon I received a call that the technician was out sick and the next availed slot was Wednesday from 3-5pm. We took it. Wednesday morning at 10:30 I revived a call that there are bad storms in my area and no tech would be able to get to me today. I questioned what storms becuase there were none in my area. I was told that they don’t know, thats simply What the technician told them. I was then told that their techs can deny a repair for any reason, even simply that they do not want to do it. I asked how can you promise me a time a lot then if they can deny my repair? They changed the subject. I was then told my repair was not a priory since it was a washer, refrigerators are more important and my job was not. The man I spoke to on the phone gave me serval heavy sigh and cut me off every time I tried to speak. I told him I do not want to reschedule a tech and I want to make sure my card will not be charged the $60 they told me it would. He sighed heavily again and told me no it will not be charged. I wanted to make sure- I was told on the first call I would be charged if I canceled. He called me A lair and told me no one ever said that. He repeatedly told me they have more important calls to take so if that’s all “just say so” so he could take other calls. I said that’s all, and he hung up immediately."
