"A follow up call was made to confirm a follow up call from prior month. When calling this organization. I was I was rudely answered when asking a simple question by a (Brandi G) , when asked to speak with her supervisor to address the situation A (Brandi B) answered and was rude also. Unfortunately this company seems to have some unprofessionalism going in general , all I was trying to do was confirm when and what time a phone call was made to confirm an appointment and went through an unpleasant process from an unhappy personS that don’t want to do there jobs. What a waist of a seat in the positions"

"The extent of my experience with National Counseling Group was a very brief, very unpleasant phone call. Context: I am just moving back to the area after being away at college for the last 4 years. I was seeing a therapist regularly while I was away at school, but since I am back home now I needed to find someone here so that I could continue to go regularly. The process of finding a new therapist has been incredibly stressful for me. I’m having to navigate it more or less on my own as my parents are not overly supportive when it comes to me taking care of my mental health, and there are a lot of things that are tricky for me to understand, especially regarding insurance, so I sometimes have to ask a lot of questions or be talked through things slowly. I experience a good deal of anxiety before making phone calls, so I had already been putting this off for a while. When I finally called this place to try to see about getting a new therapist, the person who answered the phone was rude and incredibly unhelpful. She asked me if I had Medicaid, and I told her I was unsure if my insurance (I’m on my mother’s insurance plan) was Medicaid or not. She was audibly irritated by this, and while I suppose it’s understandable to be irritated when working with someone who is confused, it’s not helpful to anyone in that situation to get irate with them. I spent a few short seconds trying to nervously explain what I did understand about my insurance (I know the name of the provider and I have a copy of the insurance card) before I was interrupted and told that they will only take Medicaid. She then hung up on me. Needless to say, this phone call left me feeling incredibly frustrated, and also somewhat ashamed of my inability to articulate what I needed. There are a lot of people out here trying very hard to make sense of a very difficult world, the least one can do is be kind."

"I've been waiting since 8:50 for an appointment at 9:00 it's almost 9:30 an still waiting the receptionist is at her desk hasn't opened the window or asked have we been helped mind you myself and my husband have to go back to work this is so unprofessional an very disturbing being a new patient an having to wait with Noone telling us any information about what's going on. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to wait forever with no one giving you any information."
