Reviews of United States Postal Service
"Constantly getting other people's mail when address are clearly on the mail. Post office manager Jim just argued with me and was rude and unprofessional he said never got a complaint about this before. Well I called last week.my neighbors have called, one called from my house, so I witnessed it. I'm disabled and can't continue to try to get people's mail to them because it's delivered in"
"Negative stars if I could: I am appalled by the customer service at this post office. The USPS service as a whole has many negative jokes around it and the Saxonburg post office truly brings those issues to light. I unfortunately deal with the post office much more than the average American for large amounts of packages. I am shocked at being told that I cannot bring “that many” packages to the post office… the post office that ships packages. To make their jobs easier I have requested regular scheduled pick up to my business and was denied as well as offering to place my packages in a different spot to allow room on the counters and time to get to them and was denied this as well. All my packages are also prepacked AND LABLED with a bar code. I had an extremely surprising and unprofessional interaction with the manager of the Saxonburg post office. With an angry and forward tone she expressed her displeasure of my business and told me I could not drop that many packages off at the post office and they will not scan my packages after five. They will not scan the postage that I have paid for and they just have to use a scanner on. Meanwhile, I have seen them throw my packages labeled fragile while I am standing at the counter and continually have rude customer service from many employees well over a year now. Although I do not understand why bringing packages to the post office receives such a negative response from the employees; I always try to be kind and thankful to them every time. I have tried many of ways to make the scanning of my packages easier on them through pick up or stacking in a different location but was told “no” multiple times, but I continue to receive this unprofessional service. After reading the other reviews, I can see that the lack of customer service is not only to myself but multiple customers. Many similar complaints about rude employees/management. It is sad their reactions are so negative when postage is the whole business that keeps their salaries paid and customers just trying to make money to put food on the table and shelter over their heads and sending notes/gifts to loves ones. I deal with other post offices regularly and try to avoid my local post office in Saxonburg due to the customer service. The other post offices I use are farther away but kind and helpful EVERY TIME I stop in. I will continue to try not to use this post office as often as possible, but sadly I will still need to some days."
"The carrier lady Tammy Patterson refused to come on my property to deliver my packages. So the office told me to put containers out by the mailbox for the carrier to put the packages in. I have done this. And yet they leave my packages out in the elements and refuse to put them in the containers set out for them"
"An envelope with my graduation pictures from college were put in a small mailbox there and it clearly stated on both sides to not bend. Well the people ignored that and put them in there anyway, even though they could’ve left a note to pick it up. And when confronted the lady blamed the company for not having a sturdy envelope and didn’t apologize. So that’s the amazing care and service of this place."
"It would be nice if my mail would be put in my mailbox. I get mail for 4 different neighbors and today one of my neighbors delivered to my house a bag of my mail that was in her mailbox for a week. I'm very tired of delivering the mail to my neighbors. I talked to the post office about this but nothing changes. It's been several months."
