"I’ve been seeing Dr. Dye for years now and I absolutely adore her. I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t found my way into her office…probably still scared stiff of social interaction and shackled to my abusive parents. She’s an incredibly compassionate person and I’m so tremendously grateful for her help. My experience with her billing has been very different from what another reviewer described. If anything, she undercharges for the work she does."
"You wonder if this woman actually got her Phd from Duke University, because her standards are so low. I had four sessions with her and feel like I am talking to a functional sociopath who charges almost $300 an hour. No one picks up the phone if you call but the office manager will make sure to call to charge you for everything. She makes a lot of assumptions about people. Woman is racist and arrogant who thinks Asians aren't social because they are so educated overall as a minority. That you can't be both Asian and American.Or that the worst thing that can happen is if your parents are trying to kill you. At that point, you might as well call the police. There is very little nuances with her view of the world considering she's been in practice for 30 years. She looks and sounds like she's intelligent in our sessions, but I think she does a pretty good job at positive mirroring my body languages. In her bill, she sent me a one-liner code recognized by the World Health Organization that is only half accurate for my problem. Who in the United States uses WHO as a standard?! I really want to know. It just seems like a ruse to make herself more credible than she is. She interjects all the time to give random opinions and trying to prove how smart she is, but it just all comes off as insecurity. I am old enough to know when someone is intimidate by me or feeling insecure because I also went to an elite school. She'll throw clinical words occasionally to sound smart. Or expressions of sympathy for what happened to me...but it feels fake. I just got tired of playing these games with her while wasting my time and money. She's not entirely listening to what I was saying and I have to repeat it a couple of times in different sessions, but hey that means more $$$ by dragging it out."
"If you are a child in a family therapy situation with Dr. Dye demand another Dr. She has no integrity please help yourself do not pursue family therapy with her as a moderator."
"I've been seeing Dr. Dye for a little over a year now and have nothing but praise. She knows her stuff, gives amazing insight, and above all gives direction for treatment."
