"Hidden gem...literally... The restaurant is located in more of a residential area so you have to be intentional about coming to this location without expecting to hop around to other spots nearby. However, you might not want to go anywhere else because the bartender is hilarious and serves up creative drinks!!!!! The food was also pretty good as well. I love the African + American menu selections!"

"My boyfriend and I came here after seeing a video on Instagram. I must say that the food lived up to the hype. We had the chicken and mambo sauce deviled eggs, the lamb with mash and spinach, the red snapper with jollof rice and veggies, and the pineapple fire drinks. Everything was well seasoned and hit the spot. We’ll be back for sure!!"

"Nice place. Jared was at the bar and our waiter. He was really cool.... He also just started. I. Had the lamb chops and they were seasoned perfectly and came out hot. The sides were potatoes and spinach and whatever sauce was added stole the show!!!! The sauce, spinach and potatoes were hands down the best. The lamb was great too don't get me wrong lol. I also order a side of pounded yam which went well with the sauce and spinach. The chef thought I was crazy but I love pounded yam. I would've preferred to have a small side of egusi but it only came as an entree. Maybe I will try it next visit. Highly recommend this place! And Jared was full of energy and a great bartender and waiter. I will be back!"

"When my wife and I arrived, we were initially seated upstairs with an extremely loud and raucous birthday party. We were finally moved downstairs, where we could at least hear each other's voices. The Oxtail Eggrolls were delicious, as well as the Goat Pepper Soup. Also had the Goat with Coconut White Rice. Wonderful meal."

"We came here for my mom's birthday. The wait staff was super attentive and nice. The food was great. The outside area to eat was bigger than where we sat inside to eat. What we didn't like was the fly, which seems no restaurant can do anything about and the bill. We ended up having to pay for sides that should have been INCLUDED with the menu items that came with sides. If there was something special about the sides we had, they should've explained that with everything else the waiter told us. My mom enjoyed herself and the food, so all in all, it was a win."
