"My problem with them is that when they give an estimate based upon the time its a flat rate regardless of the time spent to complete the work. They gave me an estimate of $2082, which I thought was a bit high, but I approved it. It's an old steam boiler system, so I figured it was going to be pricey. The parts that were replaced I could probably purchase myself for the $82 portion of the bill. The bill was based on 6 hours of labor, and it took them 5 hours, yet no adjustment to the bill. When I questioned it, I was told it's a flat rate. So by my estimation, they basically fleeced me for an extra $400. I have absolutely no problem with the guys that did the work or the quality of the work performed. I don't know about you but I'd love it if I could get paid for 6 hours when I only worked for 5 hours. I would highly recommend getting an itemized estimate and clarification that you would only be charged based on the actual time spent to complete the work. I REALLY WONDER HOW MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. THEY'VE MADE FOR HOURS OF LABOR. THEY DIDN'T PERFORM."

"My moms furnace stopped working Friday evening, the day after Thanksgiving. We called JED heating and cooling and got immediate help from Garry even though it was weekend hours. Garry was extremely helpful and walked us through some trouble shooting tips on the phone. When those steps didn't resolve the issue Garry drove to our home and quickly identified and fixed the problem. We had heat within 20 minutes of Garry's arrival. He was extremely friendly and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. The cost of the service was very reasonable. We will be using Garry and JED heating for all our Hvac needs in the future. 5 out of 5 stars!"

"I had Jed out to replace a very old central ac unit (36 years). While starting to preform the installation they checked the furnace. They noticed the inside of the furnace (which I’v never seen) was rusted and cracked. It could potentially leak carbon monoxide. They suggested I get a new furnace also at some point soon due to the safety of my furnace. Mind you I have replaced this some 15 or so years ago with Beverly. But due to the half butt job Beverly did it could have caused danger to myself and family. I of course decided to replace the furnace on a whim. John and Wyatt were absolutely wonderful! What should have been a 4 hour job turned into a 10 hour. Jeff (supervisor I believe) came to do the fabrications (I think that’s what it’s called) for the furnace and all is well! Although I spent more money then anticipated, I can not put a price on the life of my family or myself! So huge shout out to John, Wyatt and Jeff! And they cleaned up so that’s an extra plus!"

"John and Hunter installed our new AC and furnace relatively quickly, were always on time, and were very professional! They also explained to us about aftercare and basic upkeep. JED was also professional on the phone and in person. Very easy to work with. Price was reasonable for the quality of the units and included warranties. Would do business again!"

"Great service from top to bottom. We started having problems with our AC, and nobody wants to be in a house that is hot. Rick and Janice understand that and had a technician at our house the day we called. Jay, the technician, came to the house and went over everything and walked us through the options. He was very professional and knowledgeable about everything that we asked. We decided to get a new AC unit and air handler, and Jay had the old unit running and cooling the house until the new one could be installed. We only had to wait a week before Janice called to schedule the installation. I can't say enough about how good the installers are, Wes & Brian with Jeff doing the duct work, because it was the hottest day and no easy feat getting the air handler through the little opening for the attic. They stayed until 11:00 to finish the job and make sure my family had a cool home. It was as easy as it could be because of the people working at JED."
