"The scheduler offered the next two days for delivery. However, I was scheduled to work. The scheduler told me that I would be notified an hour prior to delivery, in case I worked close to my house. As a result, I scheduled delivery for the following day, since I live less than 10 minutes away work. The following day, I was notified, "Your shipment will be delivered within one hour". As a result, I took a lunch break and headed home. One hour ten minutes after the notification and no delivery. I called and spoke to a person who identified himself as a terminal manager. The manager told me that the truck was diverted to another location. I asked why I was notified the delivery was in route and less than an hour away. The manager sounded agitated and gave me no explanation why. Several days later, my delivery arrived. The driver was awesome! He was very friendly and professional. The driver pointed out a rip in the out ship box and recommended that I inspect the product before he leaves. The product was not damaged. As a result of the very positive experience I had with the driver, I decided to edit my rating from a 1-star rating to a 4-star rating. ABF Freight would have received a 5-star rating if the terminal manager had exhibited a little concern about the inconvenience caused by the first delivery attempt. I highly recommend ABF Freight for your shipping needs."
