"TL;DR: They damaged both my dishwasher and cabinetry in a straightforward swap installation, then avoided responsibility. I will never use them again and will probably not order appliances through Best Buy because of them. After installation of a new dishwasher (ordered through Best Buy, Veteran Plumbing was Best Buy's installer) in the same place as an old dishwasher, the team said that the new dishwasher was catching and scratching but there was nothing they could do. I looked around and noticed a piece of my cabinet was missing. I asked them to arrange for a supervisor to come. After the installation team was gone, I looked at the installation and the place where the dishwasher was catching and scratching was a badly installed screw. If they had screwed it in squarely, there would have been no problem. The supervisor came out a week later and fixed the installation. We agreed on a cash settlement for the cabinet and scratched dishwasher verbally. The waiver that came in the mail, however, required me to waive all future claims for the installation in order to receive compensation. Given the visibly shoddy nature of the installation, there was no way I would do that. I suggested alternate terms such as waiving all superficial claims, or waiving all claims to the present date. Attempts to call the office went unreturned for a week. When a certified letter from me was delivered on a Saturday morning, they returned my call on a Saturday afternoon and I missed it. I called back within an hour and left another message. Further calls went unreturned for three days until I used a number other than the one they advertise as their main number. They declined to negotiate and are sending out an insurance adjuster."
