"The front staff and doctors have nasty attitudes. They do not care about helping people with severe mental health conditions. I have been going here for a year and my condition has worsened because they do not listen to your complaints. Please find another place who actually will help their patients!"

"My son was a patient of this office for 6-9 months during which time we visited 3-4 times. We experienced multiple problems causing us to find a new practice. On one visit, they had no record of our appointment that I scheduled in the office prior to leaving our last appointment. Luckily, they fit us in, but that was our first indicator of the disorganization in the front office. Anytime, during the months my son was a patient, that I called the office and left a voicemail about a prescription refill, no one ever returned our call. This was especially concerning when one medication in particular is on a national backorder, and I spent 2 hours calling around to pharmacies before calling the office so when they wrote and sent a script, we knew it would be filled. Finally, when they weren't returning my 3-4 calls and voicemails in one week, I cancelled our next appointment with 48 hours notice yet I was still billed for that appointment on my credit card. When I went to review their website to find their cancellation policy, the links were broken. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company instead. I left the office a voicemail letting them know I disputed the charge, but who knows if they ever check those messages since they're never returned. Bottom line: for families with needs such that fit the services of this office, it's not worth the precious time and energy you have to deal with Family Psychiatric Associates. Keep searching."

"Really bad experience with reception. They never pick up the phone and you have to leave a message and hope they call you back at a decent time. I work long hours at a hospital and I often can’t pick up the phone when they return my call days later (if they do). I called and had to leave a message to cancel 2 appointments more than 48 hours in advance on a weekday. They still charged me for the appointments and I have been attempting to reach them about a refund with no success. Really unprofessional and they ignore patients when they stand at the reception desk. Therapist was great, but I’m sad to say I will not be going there anymore."

"I was a patient at this practice for a short period of time years back then stopped going there cause I could never get a hold of them when it was time for a medication refill. They never answered there phone and never returned calls. It got to the point where I ran out of medication and went through terrible withdrawals. I thought I would give them a second chance so I called to schedule an appointment recently and they said I had been discharged from the practice?? They didn’t explain why but said they had discharged me and I could not reschedule. It would’ve been nice to tell a patient that they were being discharged especially when they are still in need of care! Even when I went there years back I felt like they never cared about me as a patient all they cared about was making money. The office manager was very rude and unprofessional! I’m sure she will make up an excuse for this negative review and that’s fine. She doesn’t care about the patients believe me all she cares about is bringing money into the practice. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else!"
