"If I could give 10 Stars I would!!! Joanna and Lauren are awesome. I saw Joanna for two years. We covered a lot and she was awesome, challenging, fair and supportive. Lauren saw another family member of ours for about 5 years. Lauren is awesome, gave great tools, strategies and kind. I highly recommend this practice and these two amazing humans. If you are on the fence, jump off and invest in yourself. I wish I would have done this earlier in life. We call them the "Talk Docs". We have recommended them to others and will continue to. If you are reading this then I imagine you are looking for help and I hope you find it. Thank you Joanna and Lauren! 10 + STARS!!!!"
"I am a case manager in Arlington and have had the pleasure of collaborating with Lauren and Joanna in several scenarios. I am continuously impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, and thoroughness they provide. I would recommend them to anyone seeking psychotherapy, and I am looking forward to continued consultations."
"The experience was disappointing. It’s hard as it is to find the kind of therapist you’re looking for, but it seems money is much more important to them than helping out a young girl. We were only able to do biweekly sessions due to financial constraints and this was okay at first, but later this changed after three sessions in. After already developing a relationship with the young girl and terminating therapy with her. They did push for weekly sessions at first until I kept telling them this isn’t feasible for us and not what my sister wanted. They then proceeded to giving excuses why biweekly sessions isn’t helpful. My sister was liking the flow of things and told me how much she liked therapy. She was the one who even requested not to do weekly sessions because she felt it was excessive. I think therapy should be catered to what feels right to the patient even if they’re only asking for two sessions a month. Any kind of therapy even just ONE is helpful! Not according to these people. You either commit weekly or they want nothing to do with you. By the way, thank God I found an amazing therapist for my sister who was perfectly fine with biweekly sessions and stated that if for any reason a weekly session was needed, she would let us know. I would be more than willing to pay more if she felt that was what my sister needed. You can tell the difference between a therapist who cares about helping people and ones who just wants your money. I’m so glad it didn’t work out with this place. God found my sister the most caring therapist and I’m so so grateful."
