Advancing Beyond the Spectrum

Advancing Beyond the Spectrum is a health institution located at 602 South Atwood Road in Bel Air, Maryland, United States. Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) is dedicated to meeting the social, behavioral, academic, and communication needs of children. We provide interventions such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) which are evidence-based practices proven to be effective with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We also offer parent training, advocacy, and community support.

Our ABA program uses scientific principles to teach speech, academics, and life skills to individuals aged 2-21 with developmental disabilities, including ASD. Our VB program focuses on teaching children language by creating connections between words and their meanings.

Our behavior analysts are available to provide school support by reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and attending school meetings to ensure comprehensive services. We also work in the community to generalize mastered skills, promote socialization, and independence. Observation, immediate feedback, and training are used to achieve these goals.
