"My band played a show at Quarry House this past Saturday and it was a total pleasure. One of the few places in the area that really makes the extra effort to create a welcoming and spontaneous atmosphere for their crowd. The food was also really solid, and the folks tending bar were super chill and attentive at the same time. My new fave."

"A very good beer pub in Silver Spring. Cheese tots and nachos with avocado were enough and tasty. Quick and polite service. Very good music, wanted it to be a bit louder though. Back home clothes smelled fried food."

"The chophouse burger is ELITE. Plus a great bourbon. Selection with tons of great and rare finds. To top it off, place has an excellent dive bar vibe with a bit of history. We will be back when in the area, I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a dive bar with good alcohol selection and great food."

"Love their burgers! Especially on burger night, when they're cheaper! My personal favorite is the the Morning Glory, which has a great balance between a touch of spice from the jalapeno cream cheese and the sweetness of the maple syrup mayo. You can't go wrong with any burger though. They also have a great selection of beers, and taps rotate fairly regularly, so good place to try different beers. Atmosphere is dark and dingy — very much a dive bar."

"What a cool place and a true hidden gem in Silver Spring! Extensive selections of great beer and liquor. Food is amazing too. Got a burger and tots basket with cheese, and both are perfectly delicious. Service is fast and friendly as well. What’s not to love?"
