Reviews of Lee's Landing Dock Bar
"We had a late lunch here around 2:00 pm Sunday 11/5/23. We sat out on deck. The view was GREAT and our waitress was very attentive, but I give them 3 stars overall because we had to fight BEES throughout our entire meal (along with MANY other customers!) we were nearly stung several times and they were landing on our drinks. In addition their food was underwhelming. I was very excited that they announced a new menu because I wasn’t crazy over their old one, but the food still leaves lots to be desired. In addition, their cocktails were very weak. My friend is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol and she didn’t feel ANY warmth at all from her drinks and I didn’t either. At $10 - $12 bucks a drink customers should get a reasonable amount of alcohol in a cocktail. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was very impressive on arrival. It was huge with lots of cheese and the sauce tasted great, but the chicken was way too thick. Chicken Parmesan should be made with thin chicken breasts that have been pounded down, tenderized, breaded, and fried, not large chunky thick whole breast. The chicken Chesapeake sandwich was pretty good. The crab dip on top of it was plentiful & tasty, but again the chicken was a little thick & dry. We were also annoyed that sandwiches costing $17-$27 each don’t come with fries or a side instead of a bag of chips. We had to pay an upgrade to get fries. My friend got the crab cake & she liked it, but it was small for $27 and she also had to pay to upgrade to potato tots. It’s ridiculous that fries don’t come with a $27 sandwich! It’s a shame that the food & drinks aren’t better at Lee’s because I absolutely love the atmosphere (minus bees) and the beautiful views of the Susquehanna river. Not sure I’m going back anytime soon. I can walk around by the river for free and eat elsewhere.(attached pic taken at home is leftover chicken parm sandwich. Chicken breast was way too thick imo!)"
"This was my first time here and it definitely didn't disappoint! We had to wait for a table, which was fine because we went to the bar to get a drink and hang out. Once our table was ready, they had us sit right by the water. Even though it was a hot day, they had the umbrella and a fan to keep us comfortable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the live music! And our server, Danielle, was super sweet and very attentive. She definitely made our experience even better! And they have pot beef, turkey, or ham. The sandwich is just $9.99, with fries it's $12.99, and those sandwiches are NOT small! We will definitely be back!"
"Food was great, sandwiches were the best part of dinner. Soups were good. Local oysters not as flavorful as the oysters up north, but still hits the spot. Since we were not locals, the seasoning was a bit much for the seafood boil, but I imagine not enough for the locals. Location by the waterfront, excellent with a great bar and some live music. Old Bay lovers, come on down!!!"
"We went for Sunday lunch. We had different choices to seat. We had a nice selection of food and cocktails. They have bands to listen to. You can come by boat for lunch. Great place to kick back with shorts, sandals, and T-shirts! The food was good & cocktails. Server was great! They will sit a group of ten! They have a playground. Go early because it gets noisy especially With the bands. They have another restaurant in Canton, MD."
"We were staying at The Great Wolf Lodge and went out searching for a restaurant, not knowing the area. We found this restaurant on Google maps and thought it looked fun. The ambiance was rustic and it had a beach vibe. We had a beautiful view of the water. The service was great; the waitress was friendly and fast. And the food was truly excellent. We had a cheese crab dip with the most amazing dipping bread that I will be dreaming about for life. We both had the fish tacos, which were fresh and tasty, and the kids loved their grilled cheese and cheeseburger. The service was so fast, we were in and out in under an hour. We will definitely be back!"
