Reviews of Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joe's Seafood and Steak House during a school alumni event, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Firstly, the location couldn't be more perfect, nestled in the heart of DC. The accessibility with both meter and garage parking options made it convenient for our group. We opted for a private garage, which cost us $18, but the convenience was well worth it. The ambience of the restaurant was truly impressive. The private room reserved for our alumni event was beautifully decorated, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. It was the ideal setting for our gathering. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the salmon dish, and it was cooked to perfection. The sides of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were equally delightful, enhancing the overall dining experience. The appetizers, including the shrimp and stuffed mushrooms, were a delightful prelude to the main course. The attention to detail in the culinary offerings extended to the vegetables as well. The asparagus and green beans were fresh and perfectly seasoned, adding a delightful balance to the meal. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service we received from start to finish. The staff at Joe's Seafood and Steak House went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From recommendations on the menu to timely service, their attention to our needs was impeccable. In conclusion, Joe's Seafood and Steak House in DC surpassed my expectations. The ambience, the delicious food, and the outstanding customer service make it a top-notch dining destination. I look forward to returning and indulging in more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!"
"Food is good. They have a partnership with the one in Miami. New Yorkers can compare this to an Oceans vibe. Not quite the energy of a capital grille but still good regardless. Crab was great, wine selection also good"
"I come from a country where I eat meat three times a week, so when I tell you this is THE best meat I've tried, I'm doing it with knowledge. Please go ahead and visit this place, it is not cheap, it is absolutely worth it. Service was great from the reception to the check and the atmosphere was great."
"Attractive upscale restaurant with both hits & misses on the food. The filet mignon, creamed spinach & the chocolate mousse pie were superb. The Caesar salad, the rolls & the chicken were misses. Service was attentive & friendly. The ambience was pleasant if a bit noisy. Prices were somewhat on the high side."
"Hands down. This is my absolute favorite place. I come here multiple times a week. Not only is it in the heart of northwest DC. Its food and ambiance speak for itself. They have the absolute best. Happy hour in DC. All signature cocktails are half price. Oysters half price and a nice little happy hour menu with something for everyone. They have vegetarian options. They have seafood options as well as non seafood lover options. Their staff is always attentive and kind. They treat their customers very well. A few of my favorite happy hour i tems include the old-fashioned, the espresso martini, the cheeseburger sliders, the chicken tenders, the fried Mac and cheese sticks, in the French onion dip. They have shrimp as big as your head and giant crab claws. The stakes aren't bad either. I actually can't say anything bad about this place. Except for the fact that their bathroom is on the second floor, not the main dining floor. So you have to go up the steps every time you have to use the ladies' room."
