"Truly disappointing experience. Agent Tanya Roper was unhelpful and had very poor communication throughout the entire application process. Management was unwilling to help out either. Would not recommend to anyone."
"THIS PLACE SUCKS! Luxury price but not a luxury experience, got locked out of the building and the office refused to let me in because he didn't want to walk over to the building. Floor in the apartment was sinking, dishwasher was broken, grass was never green. The management staff here is a mess. Pool was open maybe twice during the entire summer. Definitely spend your money elsewhere."
"Do not consider Parc at Princeton Junction!!! The worst experience ever! I left the apartment and returned both keys to the leasing office June 9th but still paying the rent till July 29th. However, recently I realized I left a box in my apartment and asked my friend to retrieve the box for me. After email and phone call exchanges, the office refuses to open the door for my friend and insulted her terribly. Accordingly to their condescending attitude and words, they would only open doors for me myself, who is abroad and have no way of returning to the US, and they know it very clearly and a while ago. Now I am abroad paying the apartment I am not living in and have no right to retrieve my belongs. I would give negative points if I have a choice. I recommend anyone who’s interested in PAPJ do some research and do NOT give a try at all. YOU ARE SAVING YOUR LIFE not having to deal with the leasing office! P.S. I cleaned up the apartment before moving out, but made a mistake of not taking any pictures as the proof. Now the office accuses me of leaving tons of stuff in the apartment and threatens billing me of discarding the items unless I personally come to pick them up. Fortunately, I have several people who bought my furnitures visited my empty apartment and they can all testify for me. P.S. II The office also refuses to waive the monthly parking fee and pet fee even though nobody, no pet, no vehicle are physically associated with the apartment I am paying for the two extra months. So basically now I am living abroad paying two month rent for an empty apartment I have no access to even pick up my own belongs, plus two month pet fee and parking fee. I am now seeking state law help (fingers crossed)."
"The Parc has been the best apartment I’ve ever lived at, but it also is the most expensive I’ve lived at because Princeton itself is more expensive than where I’m from. I think they keep the place looking nice and maintenance is usually pretty on top of things. I don’t call maintenance a lot though. It’s not super convenient, but having the trash at a central location outside of the buildings is nice. Keeps the buildings nicer. The ample light in the apartments is what won me over. Lots of windows that overcomes the lack of ceiling lighting in the bedroom and living room. Having a balcony so large is really nice. It has plenty of room for a table and a few chairs with some plants, etc. my only complaint about the apartments themselves are that if you have upstairs neighbors that are heavy-footed… you WILL hear them loud and clear. They walls don’t seem bad, but the ceilings are surprisingly thin. While annoying, it’s a known risk in getting an apartment. The location is very pretty and located incredibly well. A couple minutes to Trader Joe’s, a small mall, and soon a Starbucks. Target and a larger mall are within 10 minutes and the university is 15 minutes away if you want to go to a higher end restaurant that’s not just a chain. Other than the loud upstairs neighbor, I can’t say I’ve had a regret. I wish it were cheaper, but I moved at a horrible time. Tanya is incredibly responsive and stays late to help you if you catch her while she’s leaving, which is usually fairly late. She’s nice and welcoming, and apart from 2 maintenance staff (that also are very active) and maybe another office staffer, the person I see most. Shes active in making sure the buildings actually look like the pictures they post (in the summer… in the winter it’s still nice but I’m not used to the northern winters being so dreary). It just seems like they have it together compared to any apartment I’ve previously lived at. An update closer to the end of my first year lease: still love it. Wonderful neighborhood that is growing. I got annoyed that they limited parking in the front of the apartments to reserve space for the businesses that are going in, but there is plenty of parking (just a bit farther away). I felt compelled to address some of the comments because I got an email saying my review was getting attention. The coffee machine in the lobby is never broken from my experience but it’s often running low or out of drink mixes. I’ve never had issues with the staff being rude to me but I’ve gotten plenty of emails where the staff ask residents to stop smoking, stop letting children jump on furniture, etc. the package room is a mess but that is mostly the carriers fault. The staff actually go in daily and clean it up which I’ve never seen apartment staff do in anywhere I have stayed or my friends have stayed. So while I still think the prices are a bit high, and my rent has even gone up for the next lease, I still think it’s a great place to live. There’s a trio of people who meet up with their dogs outside at like 9 pm and the dogs bark, there are children being children at the bus stop in the morning, people actively use the common areas, etc. Granted, I rarely call maintenance and have been delaying calling maintenance for the relatively low water pressure. Other than that, the utilities are solid, PSEG subsidizes smart thermostats that the apartment had maintenance install. I’m sure there are issues but I haven’t had any other than timing and pricing of my lease."
"This used to be a great complex before the current management (Inland) took over. Since then, there were three break-ins in our building alone the last couple of months we were there. We saw police coming out of our building and asked them what had happened. We also saw police patrolling the parking lot in the evenings, something we did not see before. Most people (including us) have since moved out because in addition to things going downhill, Inland wanted too much of an increase in rent when it came time to renew. Everyone we talked to had this same issue. They also took away basic services (like watering the grass…) and added fees that did not exist before (for trash collection, even though we had to walk 8 mins to the trash disposal area… dead of winter is brutal) The quality of tenants has gone down. Specifically, issues like littering of the entryways and hallways, rancid smells in the hallway (fish that went old?), smoking (we have a child), and throw up in the elevators. The cherry on top is how rude the office is. I do see them cheerfully talking to prospective residents, but once you are in they ignore messages, do not say hello, and have a condescending tone that made me feel like I was living at summer camp or a high school dorm. There is a newer, nicer complex nearby. Go there instead."
