"Came here for a nice dinner date and was not disappointed. We made a reservation and were seated right away when arrived. Staffs were nice and friendly. Crab bisque was delicious and well-seasoned. The crabmeat croquette was alright, had only a little taste of crabmeat, so I would try something else next time. Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered and paired well with the garlic butter, if you like some more of the sweeter profile then the brandy mushroom sauce was a good pair as well. We were full by the time we finished out meal so we did not have room to try their dessert this time, though it looked good (from a peek of another table that ordered the chocolate mousse and chocolate lava cake, yum) This restaurant is very small and tables are set very close to each other, so it felt a little crammed during the dinner rush. We did not have a problem finding a parking spot when arrived, since this restaurant located in a small plaza, it might be a challenge to park during rush hours. Overall, it was a good meal."
"This restaurant is in a small strip mall, and the parking can be challenging. It's a small and quaint place, but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Call for reservations, and there's no dress code attire, but my opinion is you would want to definitely look presentable. The hostess was amazing. The wait staff was great as well. They were extremely busy, so we had to catch him while he was on the move or call him over to our table. We ordered an appetizer (can't remember the official name), but it was a mozzarella cheese crab ball, the tomahawk steak, mashed potatoes, lobster mac-n-cheese, and ceasar salads and the milk chocolate mousse for dessert. When I tell you the food was amazing... it was AMAZING!!! I loved the Tomahawk steak presentation. Enjoy the pictures!"
"Food as served was excellent, but the menu is limited. Bar options also. There are only two options for appetizers. When the first three in party were seated, then three small (tiny) pieces of bread were served. When two more members of the group arrived, no additional bread was served. If you don't want a steak, you're out of luck. Plus, all entrees come with mashed potatoes only. There are sides you can add on. BUT they do not offer baked potatoes."
"We went to Guerra for a work dinner. I’d say if you’re in Rosslyn and want a great steak, this is your place! I love a good pepper steak and got the 12 oz. NY Strip steak. It was delicious along with the Peppercorn Crusted “preparation”. It was tender and melt in your mouth good. We ordered the broccoli and mashed potatoes which were a nice addition to the meal. For dessert, we ordered the Milk Chocolate Mousse, Lava Cake and ice cream. All around wonderful! I really wish this place was closer to where I live. While they have a nice bathroom, one thing that I have an aversion to is there is a giant wall mirror in the bathroom so that when you sit down, you see your whole body while sitting there. I’d recommend removing that giant mirror as there’s a mirror over the sink. The staff was super nice and didn’t rush us through us ordering or taking an extra long time at dinner. I really like the decor in the dining area and the white lights outside. It gives a nice ambiance. Highly recommend! Thank you to the staff and chef(s)."
"Very pleasant dining experience with solid food offerings, even service, and casual ambience. We started with the French onion soup and it was a bit of a cross with a traditional french onion soup with the flavor of a heartier beef stew. It was interesting but not my favorite. The steak tartare crostini was beautifully presented with shaved eggs, red onion, and capers as your choice of DIY toppings, and the tartare was yummy on its own topped with béarnaise sauce. My favorite starter was the scampi with jumbo shrimp lathered with their delicious and homemade fuego spicy paste and topped with garlic butter. Epic. For our mains, we both had the filet mignon done fuego style with that same delicious paste, and my bearnaise sauce was a nice complement. The steak was a good cut not extraordinary but a very enjoyable filet. Our sides were all delicious: creamed spinach that didn't lose the flavor of the spinach, some well blended and very tasty mashed potatoes, and last but not least a heavenly and indulgent lobster mac and cheese. We topped off the evening sharing a very nice caramel fun. All the servers and staff were professional and friendly, made for a great evening. I wish this place wasn't in a strip mall, takes away from the feel a bit but once inside, it doesn't matter much."
