"I lived here for 4+ years and I recommended it to everyone who moved to Princeton in that time. I enjoyed commuting to campus on foot via the two main streets (there's also a free shuttle just in case), easy access to shared cars, nice BBQ areas, a fairly responsive maintenance team, and overall good quality accommodations. Just like any place, it has its pros and cons. Soundproofing is poor. It's probably not any cheaper than market price despite being university housing. It's visibly not built to last, but as a renter this is not an issue. Even so, I haven't seen anything better on campus, and the many pros make this a sure bet."

"First let me get this out of the way, the rentals are only for Princeton U affiliates. Considering how expensive and limited the Princeton area rental market is Merwick Stanworth definitely is a very viable option for getting what you pay for. The units are new, appliances are great, the management keep the common areas, lawns, pavement and the like very clean and well maintained. Pet friendly on the first floors which is a rarity among other PU housing options. However there are some negatives; Baths and closets made from very cheap material and already showing wear. Some poor craftsmanship in the details; windows that doesn't close and open easily, crooked cupboards etc. The crucial negative was the general manager's lack of human skills as Ms. Loydes Vazquez doesn't really know how to speak to people and can't control her condescending attitude for some unknown reasons. But you only need to deal with the management once or twice throughout your stay so not a big deal."
