"The manager is great and keeps his word as bond. The maintenance crew is always available and get the job done same day as requested."
"Maurice the property manager does a good job to assure tenants are happy. I enjoy living here because it’s affordable, peaceful and my apartment is spacious & comfy."
"The property manager Maurice!! Is AWESOME THE BEST PROPERTY MANGER HE TAKES HIS WORK VERY SERIOUS AND HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL IF ANYTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE HE MAKES SURE THE TENANTS IS A FIRST PRIORITY, IT WAS A BLESSING TO HAVE HIM IN MY CORNER,THANKS MAURICE YOU ARE THE BEST, OUTSTANDING GUY"
"The property manager, Maurice, and maintenance staff member, Anthony, are excellent! I've been living here for six months. Problems were fixed immediately, even during the weekend. There's monthly house inspection to make sure the living condition is good. They are working very hard and improving this place."
"MOVE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Roach motel. Everything looks great on the surface but this place is a complete and utter slum. My previous comment was removed to maintain their 5 star rating. Colonial Gardens is owned by slumlords who live in New York. Maurice is merely their representative and will tell you anything you want to hear to get you into a property. The previous manager Megan was the same. She failed to mention the numerous condemned notices, mice and roaches in the apartments. I noticed a condemned notice when I moved in (April 2019) and subsequently started to see major issues in the weeks to come. The mice infestation was fixed, however, a roach infestation remained until we left in April 2021. They don't pay their bills so an exterminator would come then stop coming because they weren't getting paid. The same happened with the water. The hot water wasn't working at all or would be lukewarm and no one would fix it because Colonial Gardens had outstanding bills with nearly every plumber in the area."
