"Do not move here unless enjoy fearing for your safety for too much money. I write this at 530 am, while it's sub-20 degrees outside, freezing in sub-65 degree weather in my apartment while the heat short cycles. Same as it's been short cycling for more than 2 years since moving here and every 2-3 months I'm told it'll be fixed, a tech comes out, touches a few things, and it barely works again for a little while. 2 *YEARS* I've been suffering when this company can't or won't hire someone to do basic repairs and bring things up to code. All while they charge you out the butt for rent, increase rent yearly, do limited maintenance tasks, never have available parking, don't enforce their own policies (No street parking but I see cars parked on the side daily!). The biggest though is the lack of health and safety standards. Sitting, freezing, heat not working for years and they get upset when I point it out as icicles are forming out my nostrils. My basement has had a weird gas-like smell since I've moved in, with multiple complaints solving nothing. Garage door stops working randomly or randomly decides to open on its' own, letting the world into my stuff and apartment! You'd be better off at a rundown house in Elizabeth or Newark than here, I firmly believe that. Run, don't walk, away from here."
