"Delicious food, affordable for a family to eat at, and a friendly staff who treats you like family. I am so glad we stopped in while passing through the area. In a world where everything is so overpriced and you are frequently ignored by the staff who doesn’t want to be there, this place was such a WONDERFUL and refreshing experience for me and my family. The staff was kind, attentive and accommodating. Let’s not forget the food! EVERYTHING was delicious. We got the chicken, the fish, empanadas, rice and beans, sweet plantains… all sooo good! My toddler had a second helping of their beans he loved them so much. We even took an extra order home for tomorrow for him. Yum! The place is at the bottom of the hill and parking might be a little difficult but it is totally worth it. If I am ever in the area again I will be coming back."
"You cannot beat this place for a quick, hot, and affordable plate. They always have a great selection and the people here are so friendly. I always make a point to stop and grab to go when passing through on 287, it’s my family’s first choice next to a home cooked meal."
"Best Latin food in town! So fresh and homemade. I usually get the soups preferably chicken and then I’ll get rice, beans, roasted chicken extra sauce and beef stew. The tres leches dessert is amazing! The staff is so nice and they give you amazing portions! We have had many dishes and every time they come out amazing. The owner is so sweet and always has a welcoming attitude!"
"I've never had a bad meal here. True Latino flavors. I stopped in for lunch today and got the short ribs with yellow rice and black beans. That with a bottle of soda was only $10.50. Great flavors, always reliable! A great quick spot on and off Route 287 that's worth the trip."
"The roasted chicken is my favorite dish here. Chicken literally falls right off the bone. I always get it with rice and beans and an empanada. Prices are super fair and portions are generous."
