Inverness Apartments

"I lived here in 2004, and it was a mistake that I'm STILL paying for. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!! After an uneventful, unremarkable year living there, i had to move for work. When my lease was up, they came out and inspected the apartment, even commenting how nice it was, and gave me my security deposit back. Two months later, I'm trying to get another apartment, and there was something negative reported to my credit from Inverness Apartments. Turns out, they claimed that i destroyed my apartment when i lived there, and they were suing me for damages!!! GET THIS, THEY CLAIMED THAT I STOLE MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK FROM THEM!!! NOW THEY WERE SUING ME FOR $7,500.⁰⁰ IN DAMAGES!!! After a 4 year nightmare, and over $1,000.⁰⁰ in lawyer fees, i was absolved of any wrongdoing. THE BEST PART, WAS THAT INVERNESS DIDN'T EVEN HAVE PROOF OF ANY OF THE DAMAGES THEY CLAIMED I CAUSED!! So it wasn't even like someone caused those damages, and they were blaming me! They made up the whole thing!! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!"

"Ive read through 30 or 40 reviews and not once was a genuine response given other than "call us to discuss off the record."Detailed encounters and photo logs to come.. until then, I would keep looking somewhere else."

"My lease was expired May 31,2023. In my last day after final walk through I was told my deposit should be return in 30 days. Now is July 11,2023 and I still don't have my money back. Week ago I gave them a call and was promised to solve my concern and they will give me a call with the results, but still no one call me back. The complex is nice and neighbors as well, but the management should be punctual and honest."

"Live here back in the 1990's. It was my 1st apartment & everyone from the Office Staff to the Residents were awesome! Times have changed, new owners took over & everything has changed & not for the best. I won't go into details but if your looking for your 1st starter apartment this will work. But if your looking for a more permanent situation beware. Best of luck...."

"Absolute worst place I have ever rented! Once you sign the lease you are pretty much ignored and or lied to non stop! Police seem to be here every week, i talked to one officer who told me it's a complete craphole. Needles laying on the sidewalks, awful maintenance team! Stay far far away! Laundry room is absolutely gross! I have been contacting them for 4 months regarding the laundry room!"
