Mount Airy Manor Apartments

"They evict religiously; we had 18 apartments in our building and i once came home and there were 3 notices to vacate on the front door. That's 1/6. There's no humanity no warmth and no sense of professionalism. When i left they i used my security deposit to cover the entire back rent and they charged 1300 because i told them i was leaving 3 weeks prior instead of 4. They're a cut throat business and i dont care for it to THAT extent. Live elsewhere!"

"Reasonably priced, nice units but don’t let it fool you. Lived here for almost 2 years, had a major leak in my ceiling which lead to mold growing in my walls that was NEVER addressed by maintenance. Along with other smaller maintenance requests that were never attended to. Management is a nightmare to get in contact with, you’ll go weeks without hearing back from them. Roaches in the basement (which were finding their was into my unit on the 3rd floor), in addition to one washer and dryer which is shared with all the units in the building so good luck getting your laundry done. Overall there are better options than this one in the neighborhood."

"Please is beautiful, however it is hard to get in contact with them. We've been trying to since last year we were told to call back during availability... which on site it does show... I guess don't believe what the site says as it's not always up to date? and unfortunately our lease is coming too an end again. We have been trying submitted 3 emails and called twice still no response... a little disappointed with just the leasing office, I hope tenants themselves don't actually go through this."

"Great location with a great landlord. Simon will personally handle any issues you may have, and work with you to ensure you are very well taken care of. With Chestnut Hill just a walk away, and the train station into Center City around the corner, you really do have the best of both worlds. Apartment was VERY clean when I moved in, appliances were fairly new and all worked perfectly, and they were extremely accommodating in general. There is a parking lot that I never have trouble finding parking in, as well as snow removal and de-icing. Trash is right outside in the parking lot and tended to every week. If you are looking for a spacious apartment but do not want to live in a large building, this place is perfect. You will only be passing 1-3 other apartments to get to your door every time. A downside to apartment living is that you don’t get to choose your neighbors. The upside to Mount Airy is that even if there are nosey or obnoxious neighbors, there is a very slight chance you’ll ever have to see them. 99% of my neighbors were very friendly and kept to themselves, but you’ll always have those one or two neighbors who just have nothing better to do. Simon does a great job in general vetting tenants and I highly recommend this building to anyone considering."

"My husband and I love living here! Simon ( the manager) is awesome. He responds to texts and calls and everything is taking care of in a timely manner. We have had very few issues living here ( mailbox broke and was fixed the next day) our neighbors are lovely, I feel SAFE living here! Apartments are spacious and reasonably priced, hardwood floors are lovely. We have had no issues with bugs or pests!"
