Central Transport 2124 Allen Street Extension, Falconer, NY 14733

"I have never dealt with a less professional company in my life. I normally won’t leave a review but this company was so ridiculous I have too. They apparently took the shipment without looking to see how or where it was being delivered and then let it sit in their warehouse for two weeks because they didn’t have a truck that could deliver it. Didn’t have a truck?!? It’s a trucking company and it was only one pallet with a three point hitch strapped to it. The guy we talked to when I had to find out why it was five days late could see it and told me how it looked like quality parts and it would be delivered the next day or the day after. He said he’d call me back to confirm. Never got a call back. I had to constantly call and kept getting told it would be there in a day or two if anyone even answered. I know the company that shipped it was calling them too almost every day. I finally got a call back last night after I spent all day on the phone talking to managers and shockingly it just got delivered. But not in the nice condition it was sent in. Looks like they ran it over. The paint is scratched off all over, the pallet is smashed into pieces, and all of the shipping labels were scraped off so I know that’s not how it left. Not to mention I’m assuming when the shipper told me he was looking at it and how good it looked he would have mentioned it was really beat up and we didn’t do it. Definitely would not recommend using this company if you’d like your shipment unscathed. I can understand a shortage of drivers or trucks breaking down but if that was all it was I wouldn’t have had to pull teeth to get any information."

"Order a pallet of ice melt from home Depot. Central was supposed deliver. Called and said they couldn't get a truck to my address and I had to pick it up at the terminal. Called home Depot customer service to no avail, central still refused to deliver to my address. I finally went to pick up and at least 19 bags out of 49 were damaged. Then they were mad I refused the order!"

"Central Transport used to be great. They had very competitive freight rates, the drivers were cordial, and the shipments always arrived in good order. Suddenly this year they have started adding fees for limited access despite having delivered to our location for over a decade with no issues. I called customer support for an explanation and they had no interest in discussing it, they just said "if our driver says it's limited access, we call it limited access." I will never use Central Transport again, which is too bad because they used to be great!"

"On 2/11 with bad weather, I got 3 skids from Rheem, and the driver was super helpful and friendly, he put them by the garage door. Great service!"
