"We cannot, in good conscience, recommend this apartment complex due to their huge move-out charges. After residing here for 3.5 years, we found the fees imposed upon us on moving out to be incredibly unreasonable. Potential tenants should be wary of unexpected financial burdens when considering this complex. We have recommend this complex to our friends in the past but going forward we would never recommend this place."

"Paid a lot to live here for one year. Not only did they keep security deposit but they sent a bill for a cleaning fee and re-painting (did not have a single hole in the walls). On top of that while living there our property was stolen by another tenant and they have no cameras in the parking lots. They only care about money. *The amount reduced on my bill were other fraudulent charges the paint was never reduced I can share the picture to the public. Stop lying stop robbing people."

"Response to owner: 10/20/23: I’ve tried working with you and your teams for months now regarding the rent bias and Ashley’s clear lies about a “limited time offer”. Also, Edgewood has denied any wrong doing but will only return my well deserved cleaning charges if I remove my reviews or sign some weird agreement not to hold them accountable for rent bias. This isn’t anything to be proud of at all nor are you treating anyone with respect this way. Edgewood imposed disadvantages to myself and many others, and I hope my post is read by thousands of others to better protect them from what Edgewood has put others through. They removed my initial review to I am posting again for everyone to see the truth behind this complex and its management. Until our matter is resolved, the review remains accurate to our experience. LIARS AND FRAUDS!!! This is about Edgewood properties corporate. Note: as of 10/2023 We still don’t have our security deposit back in full even after months of dispute! A 33% increase was made on our lease for 2023. We were told that every single apartment and floor plan will be required to go to “market price” for 2023 lease renewals. We didn’t sign the lease and opted to move out anyway. Come to find out a few months later, for the same exact lease year and floor plan, they allowed for only a 10% increase for other tenants. But on top of the disruptive decision to increase by 33% in a year (REGARDLESS THAT THEY ARE EXEMPT FROM RENT CONTROL, this is an absurd increase) they had the audacity to then be SELECTIVE about who to give accomodations to. They allowed a 10% increase to some tenants, while require 33% increases for others without rhyme nor reason. Corporate has acted very LOW when it comes to their tenants, even loyal tenants. Beware of the random move out costs you’ll incur over regular wear and tear (there are laws protecting you from this in NJ please research all of this before moving here (or move out of here!) We were charged over $1100 move out costs for a spotless apartment. Even the maintenance supervisor who performed the move out inspection agreed that it was impressively clean. They will charge you for paint if you didn’t live in the apartment for at least 3 years. They charged us with an entire carpet replacement because we didn’t meet their unrealistic standard of clean. Absurd. Beware of this place. A beautiful looking complex but managed by clearly incompetent, bias management. Stay clear and save your money."

"Do not move here if you don’t want to deal with a major headache and loss of money moving out! They except people not to live in the place and have furniture. We hung not a single thing on the walls and are excepted to pay the fee for them to paint. When new paint is something that should be done between each new tenant. Also beware there is no security cameras through the complex for safety and in the event of problems."

"My husband and I lived at sycamore landing for 3 years in a 1 bedroom apartment. Living here was easy, apartment was modern and spacious. We moved out to rent a house with more space and after 5 months came back to sycamore landing to rent a 2 bedroom. The community is clean and well kept but the staff is what makes this place 5 stars. Brooke is wonderful! She answers all questions with honesty. She resolves any problem we have and answers all our questions. Even if she doesn’t know the answer she will make sure she finds you an answer. The front desk staff is kind and courteous as well. I highly recommend sycamore landing and we appreciate their staff!"
