Reviews
"Why are people who never lived here leaving reviews? Get a life!"
"Five star rating is for Terri Hawthorne she was a great manager sad to see her go! Zero star for whoever is in charge now amazon can’t do anything!"
"Horrible customer service there were complications with the online application and the woman on the phone was so rude and wouldn't help me with online application. Seems like the kind of place that won't be helpful if there are problems.Stay away from here"
"Smoking in rooms drifts to hallways. Buildings aren't bad but it's at the bottom of our list. Scenery is very nice and the location is great with access to Perkasie and the local trail system along the Perkiomen right out back. NOTE: I have not rented an apartment here."
"This apartment sounded great, especially with what you're getting for the price. Upon meeting with Andy, the superintendent, initially I had a strange feeling about him him, but ignored it. I wish I had listened to my gut. We lived there content for half of our lease and then the issues started. Our downstairs neighbors began to complain that our CATS were making too much noise. (Which is quite funny because everyone we have told that to responds almost immediately with "Cats? Too much noise from cats?" followed by laughter.) They began to harass us through the floor boards after they complained to Andy several times. They would bang on the walls or on their ceiling so badly our whole apartment would shake. Then they began verbally harassing us as well, shouting obscenities and threatening to get us kicked out. At this point, I should mention that we were more than respectable neighbors. We maintained friendly and good standing relationships with all the surrounding neighbors we ever came in contact with. Coincidentally, anyone we spoke to about the neighbors harassing us, had the exact same feeling towards them: miserable and very rude. We were also informed that they had lived in another building and caused the same kind of issues, and instead of being removed to resolve the problem they were allowed to live in another building. This continued for several months and after trying to inform Andy about the situation and seek his help in the matter, he not only refused to contact us about it, but when we basically forced conversation with him in the parking lot for example, he snapped at us and said he wanted no part of it, "..that we would have to work it out. He's had feuding neighbors before." It escalated one night where I had to call the cops because they decided to bang on my door this time, and attempt to threaten me by jiggling my door handle. In case you don't know, THAT IS ILLEGAL HARASSMENT. Indirectly, we found out there may or may not be relation between the neighbors and Andy, which, if true, is a huge conflict of interest. Andy, in my opinion, is the epitome of a slum lord. Maybe not as bad as some, but he definitely does not play fair. For example, the lease specifically states NO DOGS, yet there were at least 3 living on premises. Your well being as a tenant is completely ignored and furthermore, he is extremely rude to women - just a head's up. Please just save yourself the trouble and think twice before you sign a lease here, I wish we had. We moved out before the lease was even up, continuing to pay rent without living there.. THAT'S HOW DESPERATE WE WERE TO LEAVE."
