Reviews of The Point at King of Prussia
"Mixed bag. Aesthetically, the building is beautiful and offers great amenities. This building was constructed “on the cheap” by the developer (Hanover). For example - windows do not filter out noise - so you will hear everything. Might bother those whose units face the street. I was one of the original residents (May 2020) under Hanover. The bldg changed ownership to Panco (Oct 2021). I remained a resident until Oct 2022. Decided not to renew due to poor building architecture and Panco’s handling of various issues became too much to have to deal with in a “luxury” apartment bldg. The property manager at Panco during my time there (who I will not name) was very defensive over any criticism or concerns raised. She took everything personally and didn’t seem to understand that there is a line between personal and professional. She needs to learn how to accept criticism in a customer facing role. Due to some of Panco’s policies, or lack of, some unfortunate situations were created. Example : their policy lead me to have to call police to defend a threat made against me by an unhinged resident. Then the manager took credit for resolving it. Really? Your policy caused the incident in the first place. Things might have improved since my time there. I am sharing details based on my first hand experience. Maybe your experience will be better. I am now in another Hanover bldg (constructed better). It is a Bozzuto-managed property and I am much happier. Night and day improvement."
"We loved our experience living at The Point at KOP. Our unit was centrally located to parking, the leasing office and the mailroom. We worked mostly with Lindsay in the front office, but honestly every team member we spoke to was helpful and kind. The maintenance was always prompt to fix any issue we had. An overall quiet and respectful place to live. We loved how dog friendly the apartment was and the dog spa was such a huge plus! The Point is so close to the town center so was very walkable to any of the restaurants and the grocery store. The biggest annoyance we encountered was the speed bumps in the parking garage but overall our car was always secure. Would absolutely recommend The Point at KOP."
"I have lived here since Jan 2021. I love it. However, my 2 complaints would be; 1) We need more mirrors in the garage, the blind spots are scary. The speed bumps don't bother me, but you still have people riding on your tail because you take your time over those bumps. Then pass and look at you, like you were the problem. 2) The dumping of furniture in the rear. I know you all say there are camera's and People are going to do it anyway especially when the "You Got Junk" charge $250 to pick up (mattress and box spring). Glad I was able to sell mine for $250, I digress. The rent increases are not horrible compared to other complexes that don't have our conveniences. I personally know a complex that their tenant rent increases are $200/$500. Other than those things, I have enjoyed living here."
"I have lived here for 3+ years here and still throughly enjoy it. Location is great and the apartments/amenities are beautiful. There are some negatives which is to be expected for any apartment complex, but overall the nicest building in town center. The management is outstanding and super friendly. If you ever have any concerns, they will promptly address them to keep the residents happy. Anyone complaining about Panco probably had a bad experience because they don’t know how to follow the rules outlined in their lease."
"Have been living here for about 6 months and so far I have nothing to complain about that you wouldn’t complain about at other apartment buildings (have to park high in garage w/ speed bumps at night, highway noise depending on which side of the building you live on). Other than that, the property is great. Great amenities, friendly staff in my experience, and great area to be in. Make sure to take advantage of 15% off food at restaurants in the complex. The evening doorman, Jessie, is a pleasure to converse with. Parking could be a bit cheaper, but hey- that’s the game these days."
